And day two of the engineering trains is completed. Unfortunately I didn’t manage to see all of them as on a couple of occasions I was caught off guard by their extreme earliness and missed them and the last one was just too late and it was too cold and wet and dark to stay out. But I saw four of them pictured below, hauled by 66s in four different liveries. There were the two GBRF 66s I also saw yesterday, being 66740 and 66756. There was a DB cargo red 66 in the form of 66199. There was a Freightliner Green 66 in 66540. And on the back of that train was 66415 in Freightliner Orange. So all in all a great weekend and look forward to the next engineering weekend. Thanks for reading and have a great week!

So the first of two engineering train days has finished. 3 I’ve seen today. One a Colas Rail class 66 light loco which I couldn’t get a good photo of. The other two pictured below being a DRS class 66 and two GBRF 66s topping and tailing. Three times busier tomorrow though with a staggering NINE engineering trains and grit tampers tomorrow so stay tuned for some of the videos in the coming days and I’ll post the pictures once they’ve all been seen.

Quite a good week of content ahead. So my video from Wolverton is scheduled to premiere 11:00 on Saturday. I have another video that hasn’t had much work done yet because I had the two videos from England to make but I’m hoping that’ll be made for next weekend. And this weekend is action packed as I have 10-12 engineering trains to see so I am looking forward to that. Attached below is just the two photos of the 158 and Colas 43s I got on Saturday. Another quick photo post. I went to Wolverton for a bit today and got loads of fast action with Pendolinos, 805 and 807s or Everos as they are otherwise known, 350s and 730s passing and stopping. And then 2 freight trains hauled by a DB Cargo 66 and two Freightliner 90s. And a special move as 20205 and 20007 whistling past was a great train to see too.

Part 1 of Photo dump:
What a fantastic day out again in London. A hubbub of action once again.
Starting off with a couple of quick photos at Euston.
Trekking across to Stratford (including a first ride on the DLR, albeit in the wrong direction for a bit) where I filmed some Greater Anglia trains for the first time, as well as more overground 378s and Elizabeth line 345s.
After an hour or so there I headed to London Liverpool Street where I got a quick few photos before making my way to London Marylebone to completely my itinerary with the brand new liveried class 68s and new Mark 5s with 68031 being the first Chiltern railways 68 I’ve seen arrive and depart.
Got a few quick videos at MK Central before concluding the day.

Got a little bit of planespotting done at Edinburgh Airport. This was the best photo I could get. It was a very bleak day and the photos weee unclear. Plus I wasn’t very close but I will post the videos nonetheless

Went out early this morning to see 66733 “Cambridge PSB” and 66739 “Bluebell Railway” on an engineering train today, they ran incredibly early and I was very tight making them, it was a miserable and wet day hence why the photos aren’t the greatest quality. I’ll upload that plus a HST short I captured while I was there.
I’m also intending to have two long form videos uploaded today. One I just need to make the thumbnail for and the other I only just recorded the video. I won’t spoil the second video but I can reveal the first video is a short (I thought it was longer but still) 5 minute compilation of Trains at Stepford Central on the recently updated Stepford County Railway game, I posted a video at Benton last year and decided since I’m not posting much right now it was a good opportunity to get some content out. Anyway that’ll be posted later today. That’s all for now! Take care!
