As a proud 2-time Lightning owner, and a strong believer in the product, many of you may feel I've been a little negative on the brand lately.
Okay, sometimes a lot.
I have been, for MANY reasons. But all of those reasons, I feel, are justified.
Here's another.
This is why my next EV truck will NOT be a Ford product.
I believe in EV trucks. I love the Lightning. I believe in this Ford product.
When Ford starts to prove it feels the same way, they'll earn my business back - if it lasts that long.
Until then, stay tuned for the next 3 EVs in my to-buy line-up for 2027.

1) We just became a community of 8,000 subscribers.
2) Trucked Up EVs just had its 1st video achieve 80,000 views (to be reflected tomorrow in the official public count).
3) We surpassed 800,000 overall views for the channel this month.
And it all happened because of this amazing, supportive community!

First GM, now this.
Remind me again, Prime Minister Mark Carney, why Canada continues to shield EV laggard, protectionist US auto cos. with 100% tariffs on 'foreign' vehicles at teh US request, while foolishly restricting the #1 most inexpensive EV auto cos. in China from accelerating EV adoption in Canada?
If the US auto sector is leaving Canada anyway, why support it? Is it time to dump American auto & welcome everyone else?
Even better, isn't it time for a Made-In-Canada auto company?
