Once I made the decision to quit drinking, it’s honestly been relatively easy. I’m incredibly fortunate for that, and for the family, friends, and community that have been there for me throughout.
This last year has had its bumps and plenty of weird shit, but not one bad moment had me thinking of reaching for the bottle, and for that I’m extremely thankful.
If you’re out there thinking that maybe your relationship with booze, or whatever vice, has run its course, think about making that change. I made that decision after a terrible night where I stayed up all night drinking, soooo it really can be a snap decision that brings the real you back. There are so many resources out there, but absolutely feel free to reach out. No judgement, no bullshit, just a chat.
