Hey everybody! We did it! We hit 100K subscribers! Thank you all so, so much for all your support, for spreading the word around, it is amazing how much growth we had in the last month and I know that's because of how hard all of you were pushing for us to hit that number. I know we hit the number about a week ago but I wanted to wait till I had the plaque in my possession before celebrating.

Now, got a few things to announce. First off, I do have a couple things planned to celebrate our 100K subs, problem is it's Halloween season and as you all know I try to do my Thorgiween videos each year, and to make sure it isn't late this year I'm not working on anything until those are done. But as soon as that video goes up, then we'll have our big 100K celebration.

Next up, I decided to launch a second channel, my wife and I used to do movie reviews and we always had fun with it, so we decided to launch another channel just for that. It's not professional, there's like zero editing, it's like one step above a vlog, but it's just something we wanted to do for fun. Again, it's super casual so don't worry about it taking my focus away from this channel, this is still my number one priority. Hey folks! In case you haven't heard, I'm going to be in a documentary about horror games!

Terrorbytes is a documentary from the same minds behind "In Search of Darkness" an amazing tribute to 80s horror films, and they're now turning their attention to horror games. I loved In Search of Darkness so it was a huge honor to be asked to be in this new project. I'll be in Episode 5 talking about one of the weirdest canceled fighting games of all time. And there's so many amazing people being interviewed for this series, such as the legendary John Carpenter, Akira Yamaoka, John Romero, Swery65, and so many more.

Fight for the Future 2024

Hey there everybody! So if you've been with us for a while you know every year we do a week long Charity Stream where we play fighting games and raise money for a good cause. However this year because we just got busy with everything else on the channel and life stuff, we sadly didn't have time for it. But that wasn't sitting right with me, I didn't want a year to go past without the stream, so instead we're doing an impromptu one day only Fight for the Future Stream today!

I will be live today over at twitch.tv/thorgisarcade playing random fighting games until 8PM EST. We're raising money for the World Central Kitchen, an organization that provides meals for people in areas of crisis all across the world. Whether it be from war, weather, pandemics, if people need food then they're there. They have one of the highest ratings on Charity Watch I've ever seen in all these years of doing Fight for the Future, and I've been hearing about them all year long and been very impressed with them.

Hey everybody! So a while back I started up a Discord server for fans of the channel and we've been slowly letting people in to test it out. But today we're opening it up to everyone. Hey there everyone! I know many of you have been waiting for the next Street Fighter Retrospective and I've been working hard on it.

But I've ran into an issue. I thought the next video would be only 2 hours long. It is actually going to be closer to 4 hours long. Yeah I super overshot that prediction.

So I wanted to ask you all a question. The next video is the Alpha series, the EX games, and Street Fighter 3 together. But would you rather I divide it up and just do Alpha and EX in one video and 3 in another, so that way you get the next part sooner? Or would you prefer I keep it all together in one big nearly four hour long video, even if it means waiting longer?

Thank you everyone for all the support this year. We just hit our goal of 50K subs. That's huge! Thank you so much!
I'm putting plans together for next year and people have asked about Patreon and Discord, so now that we've hit this big goal I'm wondering how many people would be interested.
So just asking to gauge interest, who would be interested in joining either a Patreon or a Discord for the channel? On Patreon we'd have rewards like voting on upcoming videos, seeing early production notes, maybe at higher tiers we'd have commentary on older videos.
Again, just gauging interest here, so just let me know what you think or what else you might want to see.

Hey everybody, hope you all had a great Halloween.
Over here October was pretty crazy so I didn't get as many Halloween videos done as normal, but I still ended up writing and recording five other videos, just didn't have time to edit them.
So question time. Would you guys be interested in me editing and uploading the Halloween videos anyways, just a week late? Or would it be better to just hold onto them until next year?
