Here is what has been going on in my world lately beyond Real Estate.

This season has me in head down get the work done mode. For a while my weeks were shorter and I was traveling more, and that soft life rhythm was a real gift. After setting a goal to semi retire in the next 4 years, my pace shifted quickly.

I have had less emotional capacity than I am used to, and I am craving more time alone than I ever have before. That surprises me because I grew up an extrovert.

The beautiful part is the time alone feels really good. These days I am reading new books, taking longer walks, and going to the farmers market. My favorite errand right now is my monthly candle and flower run, and I am asking myself who I am becoming.

Our family is also adjusting to being a family of four at home instead of five. Watching my oldest thrive in his freshman year of college has been one of the most rewarding parts of this whole season for me.

Real estate wise the rhythm is fulfilling. I am supporting my mastermind clients daily, overseeing our debt payoff strategy, and checking in with Lawrence and the team on the properties. The whole focus right now is accelerating the payoff on our mortgages and lines of credit so we can comfortably live off our cash flow in the next 4 years.

That is the season.
