While our Land Rover is in transit, we are figuring out where our first major UK photographic expedition should be to. The goal for this series isn't just travel; we’re looking for the most challenging, atmospheric environments in the country to photograph and put our *Visual Intelligence* framework to the ultimate test.

Where is Sully? 🌍 🚛

A few of you have messaged asking why Sully (our Land Rover) has been missing from the last few videos… and why the background is distinctly not African! 😂 

Our Trans-African adventure came to a close recently and in all the chaos of returning to the UK and getting our feet back under the table, we forgot to say anything. 🤦‍♂️ But don’t worry; Sully is currently on his way back across the ocean (in a shipping container).

While we wait for him to touch down on UK soil, we’re busy dreaming up and planning a whole new chapter of photographic expeditions across the UK and Europe. This ‘mobile laboratory’ is just getting started.

In the meantime, the photography doesn't stop. I’m deep in the Peak District right now filming the next masterclass in the Visual Intelligence series. And stay tuned for an upcoming Southern Africa compilation. The editing is an epic and keep the adventure-vibes high whilst we wait to be back on the road again properly!

Sully will be back in the frame soon. And we can’t wait for our next adventure

Sully isn't going anywhere.
The expeditions aren't stopping.
But the channel is evolving (and so is the logo & the name to reflect this - AndOtherHorizons will become Cliff Fawcett Photography)

Until now, the adventure was the main story; the photography was just a part of it. Moving forward, our time in the dirt, the remote coastlines and the unfamiliar cities are no longer just travel diaries, they are going to become the testing ground for something deeper. They will be the lab through which we explore photography - the signals that dictate how we see, how we make viewers feel and how we can create more impactful photographs.

Happy Saturday everyone.
We're sorry to say that we have been trying the last couple of days to upload this week's video but we're in a remote area and not been able to get good enough connection. We should be back in civilisation tomorrow so we HOPE we'll have this week's video up before the end of the weekend! It will be a great watch for a Sunday evening :)

We can't wait to share our Part II of our Türkiye series. We make it to the far East of Turkey and explore some incredible off-road tracks as well as visiting wonderful sights like Pasha Palace and Lake Van.

We can't wait to share our next video with you all about our early adventures in Türkiye. We ride down the Black Sea and discover incredible places from the Sumela Monastery to the rollings hills of Haremtepe and the incredible Pokut Plateau in the Kackar Mountains. We're taking our time putting this one together as it feels SO special and we want to do these incredible places justice. 

There is so much we want to share from Türkiye and this one will be the first instalment from our four part series on Türkiye so stay tuned for those in the coming months too! 🙃
