People think of love, and they think of endless sunlight and flowers in full bloom. But love isn’t a painting, or a moment, or a season: love is a garden. It’s the fear of the changing tides, and the promise of life all at once. It’s a white flag in the midst of a storm; a study on longing and waiting. It’s loveliness made damned, over and over again.
Believe it or not, Loveliness Made Damned is not a breakup EP. It’s a personal documentation of all the little cracks that start to form before the breakup. It’s the euphoria of a good day that you think will save everything, the desperation of a bad day that you know will shake you awake, and the grey areas in between: the loaded silences, holding each other because it’s too hard to let go, and trying your best to make something out of a dwindling supply of nothing.

This time last year I was knee deep in preparations for the album art and the visual album, and two years ago we finished up the final masters of the songs. I think sometimes people don't realize how long these projects take, and how when I make a mood board for a release it has an end goal that's a year or two down the line 😂 But now here we are, and the EP will be OUT on Friday the 17th! Today we rehearse for the release event, and next week we CELEBRATE!!
