Fed up with the cost of traditional housing, our liveaboard adventures began when we sold everything, took a leap of faith, and bought a dilapidated houseboat in 2021. We fully renovated it, then called it home for the following 2 years. We used the knowledge & earnings from our 1st home to build our new custom float home in 2023. As our day jobs allow, we’ve continued to build/reno floating houses for others ever since!
There is no handbook for life on the water & off the utility grid, so we are always learning as we go. We seek to share our adventures with those who appreciate thinking outside the box, working hard, & playing hard! 🌊

Excited to announce our 2025 Fontana Lakeshore Cleanup! 🥳 We'd be honored to have a handful of folks from our Youtube community here come volunteer if you live nearby. Although we certainly don't expect anyone to travel, if you're inspired to do so and make a trip out of it, our Roundhouse is currently open for those dates (airbnb.com/h/brysoncityroundhouse), and/or we'd be happy to share some recommendations for other places to stay nearby. Happy happy Earth Day y'all!! 🌎 No matter who you are or where you live, we ALL have the opportunity to leave our corner of the Earth better than we found it. There are so many ways to have an impact! Personally, picking up trash is one of our favorite ways to do our part. Waterways always take the biggest hit when it comes to litter.
If you want to get in on trash cleanup efforts where you live, consider "adopting" a mile of road (look up the program thru your state's D.O.T.), participating in local river/beach/park cleanups, or just taking a grocery bag along with you while you walk the dog or run errands! Donating is also a great way to make an impact if you have the means. You can donate to our Fontana Lakeshore Cleanup using the link below, or for global litter pickup efforts, personally we love supporting 4Ocean (you can buy cute jewelry, useful home products, etc WHILE supporting ocean cleanups)! ♻️
