Hello pookums,

I posted this interview I did with my dear friend, Oie (Catchinglizards on IG/Tiktok) about her screenprinting work and how she makes it as working artist. I recorded this in like May 2024, didn't get around to editing it until now, wasn't sure if it was too late but I thought it was still a great chat and gives a little glimpse of behind the scenes of the artist's work.

Re: redesigning logos

recently found this video about a logo designer redesigning the LA Clippers brand identity. what I really appreciate this is historical look at previous logos and other logos that are in the NBA. I wish I could've referenced this in the Ins and Outs video because this is how to honor the context of a logo that seems like it fits while also creating something new. also he never said the word "FIX" lol

Hi guys!

Long time, no see... I haven't really been posting because... since June I fell into a hole of grief and despair. But it's getting a bit better and the video linked is the result of that.

The video explains all of my feelings but I'll be brief here but this video is dedicated to my Ninong (godfather). I loved him very much and this was a video I needed to create to continue on.

I didn't really intend to make this video when I started the process nor did I intend to show anyone but creating it and ultimately showing my close friends, I decided to post it here, in the hopes it could also help people going through the same thing.

And ultimately, show that my Ninong was a very important person in my life and is why I am the way I am today.

Hope y'all love that new video, I really enjoyed how it turned out. I said turned out because making it was kind of... painful?

Y'know when you don't know what you're kind of doing, like u have a vision in ur head but as your making it, it doesn't automatically become what you envisioned so you just get pissed off at yourself which makes it harder to get to the vision your making?

Yeah yknow that feeling??? LOL i was feeling that the entire time, it didn't also help i was getting over that cold or whatever. BUT the important lesson I learned is to just push through it, complete it, regardless of the outcome and you will be really glad you did. It really does turn out better than you thought.
