After years of dreaming (and a lot of graft), we’re finally making it happen! We’ve discovered beautiful Bulgaria — a bit like Yorkshire, just warmer. The language barrier isn’t scary (and let’s be honest, some Yorkshire folk talk a bit daft anyway 😄). We’ll learn the local lingo as we go!
We’re doing this on a tight budget, which means renovating mostly ourselves — learning as we go, making mistakes, and figuring things out on a shoestring.

Hi Guys, things have been pretty quiet on here HOWEVER!!! Behind the scenes there’s a lot going on! As mentioned previously i’m back in Bulgaria in January for more of the house and exploring Varna and Dobrich in the winter (wish me luck) .
Also new in 2026 I’ll be sharing my health and fitness journey in realtime what a challenge and fantastic motivation to keep it up! I hope you guys join and support me on my journey of change and discovery there’s going to be a lot of embarrassment on my part but hey if I can do it we all can!!!!!! Any help, suggestions, words of encouragement will be appreciated and let’s keep things nice and friendly! And feel free to share your journeys!! ……. We’ve got this! Love you byeeeeee

Hi guys ive been very busy here in the UK. Ive gone back to university to get my Degree in BSC Archaeology. i get to spend my days in this amazing building in York! we'll be back in Bulgaria in the summer!!!!
