Yeah, yeah. I know it's been a while since my last post. I've got two more videos coming soon I hope. Here's what I've been up to:
1. I taught a semester of 3D printing at college
2. I did real-estate school and am now a Realtor(R) - (Because I wanted to learn something new and maybe save myself some money when we sell and buy a house in the next year.)
3. Actual work
4. Playing games with the kids
5. Spending evenings before bed watching shows with the wife.
I spend about an hour of work per minute of video run-time, so it's not incredibly possible to do that when I've been busy with the 5 things above, but now that all that's slowed down, I'll be back making more videos soon.
Thank you all for sticking with me, and I'm still responding to as many questions and comments as possible.
I'm not dead yet. I've just been extremely busy living life and working on my newest channel 121.Mike. It's my ground school. My last post a year ago mentioned I was the newest FAA ground instructor, and that's likely no longer true. (Although ground instructors are quite rare) Mike'sInventions has always been all over the place with absolutely no focus, and a misleading title, but I'm not going to put flight training videos on here, because that'd just be too off-brand. I've got a couple of videos for here that'll go live once the weather is appropriate for final shooting and editing. Really though, my lack of focus for this channel has hurt me and I'm always amazed at which videos succeed and which ones don't. My 121.Mike channel seems to be growing at a relatively faster rate and I'm really enjoying teaching aviation. Aviation has always been my #1 passion, so that's where my focus has been lately. If you're interested in learning about flying, go check out that channel. www.youtube.com/channel/UCbu3...
I'm still around, and as of today, I'm the FAA's newest Ground Instructor. (AGI/IGI) I didn't know that was a thing until November 2021, so I studied hard and after a couple months of waiting on the FAA to process my stuff, I received my temporary airman certificate today! I haven't posted any new project videos in a while, because I've just been busy with other things and haven't had time to shoot and edit videos for my projects. There are some more coming soon though. It takes about an hour of editing for each minute of run-time, so... You're sure to see some videos talking about aviation in the near future. Be sure to stay with me on 121.Mike!
So I'm back after a bit of a fall break. A lot has happened since my Scottish 70 video, but I just didn't have time to film all my projects, and some of them seriously aren't worth filming. I've got another Fast 5 coming coming soon to show you 5 quick projects that weren't worthy of their own video and one of which I didn't film as I built. 2020 has been a crazy year for everyone, and I want to thank you all for sticking with me and welcome those of you that decided to join me this year. Everyone HAS been on YouTube a lot more this year since we can't go anywhere. Really though, I've had a great year, and I'm looking forward to all the exciting things to come next year. Go ahead and subscribe if you haven't already and thanks for watching, I really appreciate it. Merry Christmas from Command Center Bravo!

This little gem was recently brought to my attention. I'd forgotten all about it.
