✅ If + Present + Future: IELTS-এ ব্যবহার উপযোগী একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ গঠন

🎯 কী বোঝায় এই গঠনটি?
“If + Present + Future” মানে হলো—যদি কোনো কিছু ঘটে, তাহলে ভবিষ্যতে অন্য কিছু ঘটবে।
এটি First Conditional নামে পরিচিত এবং এটি বাস্তবসম্ভব ভবিষ্যৎ পরিস্থিতি বোঝাতে ব্যবহার হয়।

🔍 কাঠামো (Structure):
If + Present Simple, will + Base Verb
👉 অর্থাৎ, “যদি + বর্তমান কালের কাজ, তাহলে + ভবিষ্যতের ফলাফল”
📌 উদাহরণ ১:
If I study hard, I will get a high score in IELTS.
👉 যদি আমি কঠোর পরিশ্রম করি, তাহলে IELTS-এ ভালো নম্বর পাবো।
📌 উদাহরণ ২:
If people recycle more, pollution will decrease.
👉 যদি মানুষ বেশি রিসাইকেল করে, তাহলে দূষণ কমে যাবে।

Q: Do you prefer studying in the morning?

👉 যদি আমি সকালে পড়ি, তাহলে আমি ভালোভাবে মনোযোগ দিতে পারবো।
🔹 Part 3 উদাহরণ:
Q: How can people reduce traffic problems?
A: If public transport improves, people will use cars less.
👉 যদি গণপরিবহন উন্নত হয়, তাহলে মানুষ কম গাড়ি ব্যবহার করবে।

🔸 Task 2 (Opinion Essay) উদাহরণ:
Topic: Should students do part-time jobs?
Sentence:
If students do part-time jobs, they will learn responsibility.
👉 যদি শিক্ষার্থীরা খণ্ডকালীন চাকরি করে, তাহলে তারা দায়িত্বশীলতা শিখবে।
🔸 Task 2 (Problem-Solution Essay) উদাহরণ:
Topic: How can we reduce plastic waste?
Sentence:
If governments ban single-use plastics, the problem will reduce significantly.
👉 যদি সরকার একবার ব্যবহারযোগ্য প্লাস্টিক নিষিদ্ধ করে, তাহলে সমস্যা উল্লেখযোগ্যভাবে কমবে।

💡 IELTS-Friendly বাক্য কাঠামো (বাংলা অর্থসহ):
1. If more people become aware, the situation will change.
👉 যদি আরও মানুষ সচেতন হয়, তাহলে পরিস্থিতি পরিবর্তন হবে।
2. If schools introduce this idea, students will benefit.
👉 যদি স্কুলগুলো এই ধারণাটি চালু করে, তাহলে শিক্ষার্থীরা উপকৃত হবে।
3. If this trend continues, it will lead to serious consequences.
👉 যদি এই প্রবণতা চলতেই থাকে, তাহলে এটি গুরুতর পরিণতির দিকে নিয়ে যাবে।
4. If nothing is done, the problem will get worse.
👉 যদি কিছুই না করা হয়, তাহলে সমস্যা আরও খারাপ হবে।

✅ উপসংহার:
“If + Present + Future” কাঠামো IELTS Speaking এবং Writing উভয় অংশে প্রবল logical sentence structure হিসেবে কাজ করে। এটি আপনার উত্তরকে বাস্তবসম্মত, পরিণত ও যুক্তিপূর্ণ করে তোলে। প্রতিদিন এই গঠন ব্যবহার করে ৫–১০টি বাক্য অনুশীলন করুন—বিশ্বাস করুন, fluency ও coherence দুটোতেই উন্নতি হবে।

IELTS এর “agree/disagree” রচনার Introduction লেখার প্র্যাকটিকাল কৌশল:
Topic:
Some people believe that television has had a positive influence on society.
Do you agree or disagree?
বাংলা:
কিছু মানুষ মনে করে যে সমাজের উপর টেলিভিশনের ইতিবাচক প্রভাব রয়েছে।
আপনি পক্ষে নাকি বিপক্ষে?
Step 1: Understand the Topic (টপিক বুঝুন):
Carefully read the essay prompt or topic to understand what you are being asked to agree or disagree with.
বাংলা:
কিসের সাথে আপনি agree অথবা disagree করছেন সেটা টপিক ভালোভাবে পড়ে বুঝুন।
Step 2: Paraphrase the topic statement (টপিকের তথ্য নিজের মত করে লিখুন):
Begin your introduction by paraphrasing the essay prompt. One of the easiest ways to paraphrase is to change as many synonyms was you can.
বাংলা:
প্যারাফ্রেইজ করার সবচেয়ে সহজ উপায় হল টপিকে যে শব্দগুলো দেয়া আছে সেগুলোর সিননিম লিখুন।
Example:
Some people believe that television has had a positive influence on society.
Do you agree or disagree?
Let’s paraphrase it:
First, let’s change some synonyms:
Some people believe that television has had a positive influence on society.
Here,
Some = many
People = individuals
Believe = assert
Television = television
Has had = has brought about
Positive influence = beneficial effect
Society = society
Now let’s use them in the paraphrased sentence:
Topic statement:
Some people believe that television has had a positive influence on society.
Paraphrased one:
Many individuals assert that television has brought about beneficial effects on society.
Step 3: State Your Position Clearly( আপনি পক্ষে না বিপক্ষে সেটা পরিস্কার করে লিখুন):
Clearly state whether you agree or disagree with the statement. Your position should be straightforward and reflect your overall argument.
বাংলা:
ইন্ট্রোডাকশনেই আপনার অবস্থান সরাসরি লিখে ইগজ্যামিনারকে বলে দিন আপনি পক্ষে বা বিপক্ষে লিখবেন।
Example:
I completely agree with this viewpoint.
এই এই মতামতের সাথে সম্পূর্ণচাবে একমত।
Step 4: Outline Your Main Points (আপনার প্রধান যক্তিগুলো লিখুন):
Briefly mention the main points that you will use to support your position. This gives the reader a preview of what to expect in your essay.
বাংলা:
আপনি পরবর্তী বডি প্যারাগ্রাফগুলোতে কী কী যুক্তি লিখবেন সেগুলো পয়েন্ট আকারে ইন্ট্রোডাকশনে তুলে ধরুন যাতে ইগজ্যামিনার বুঝতে পারে আপনি কোন কোন পয়েন্টগুলো আলোচনা করবেন।
Example:
In my opinion, television has significantly contributed to societal progress by enhancing communication, and promoting cultural exchange.
উপরের বাক্যটি পড়ার সাথে সাথে ইগজ্যামিনার বুঝে যাবে যে আপনি দুটি পয়েন্ট (enhancing communication & promoting cultural exchange) নিয়ে এই এসেতে আলোচনা করবেন।
Full example Introduction:
এবার চলুন উপরের টেকনিকের আলোকে নিচে একটি সম্পূর্ণ introduction লিখে ফেলি:
Many individuals assert that television has brought about beneficial effects on society. I completely agree with this viewpoint. In my opinion, television has significantly contributed to societal progress by enhancing communication, and promoting cultural exchange.
অনেকেই দাবি করেন যে টেলিভিশন সমাজে উপকারী প্রভাব ফেলেছে। আমি এই দৃষ্টিভঙ্গির সাথে সম্পূর্ণ একমত। আমার মতে, টেলিভিশন যোগাযোগ উন্নত করে এবং সাংস্কৃতিক বিনিময় প্রমোট করে সমাজের অগ্রগতিতে উল্লেখযোগ্যভাবে অবদান রেখেছে।
আশা করি এখন থেকে আত্নবিশ্বাসের সাথে agree/disagree রচনার introduction লিখতে পারবেন।
