Lost Icebear is a personal journey between Germany and China — a story about leaving, returning, and finding a place to belong.
On this channel, I share my experiences as an architect, teacher, and long-term expat. After many years living and working abroad in China, Austria, and Thailand, I am once again preparing for a new chapter: leaving Germany and moving back to China.
What happens when home no longer feels like home?
Alongside these personal stories, the channel continues to feature cinematic walking tours, architecture explorations, and urban documentaries from cities around the world.
As an architect, I am fascinated by how cities shape human experience. Through architecture walks, city tours, and visual storytelling, I explore places such as Frankfurt, Berlin, Vienna, Budapest, Shanghai, and many others.
