To start off, I just wanna say that yeah I kind of hated my childhood yet I loved it (I used to get bullied and stuff but I don't anymore dw) The reason I loved it is because I used to create stuff. Crafts mostly and alongside, art. I started drawing seriously from the age of 9.
Well getting to the point, being good at academics isn't everything. Yeah well you need those marks for admission and for parent's reputation but outside that, what are you? Well mostly, the topper people are introverts and they suffer the most at getting jobs because of interviews. They don't have any skill other than those numbers printed on paper. So please, build something. Be creative, develop communication skills and no I'm not saying to completely avoid studies but if you go to somewhere other than your school, how would you want people to look at you? Just think of that. Nobody will give a shit if you were 1st in your class if you are just making your profile like an outcast. Well in my case, I'm already learning video editing and art. I also write stories and poems. I also play sports and I'm going to learn guitar too. You might be saying, how did I learn all that but all I want to say is just start. The starting will always be imperfect but once you enjoy the process, the outcomes will come easily to you.
So yeah, just start and yes you'll be scared of judgment but it doesn't matter. Your future self will be proud of you because you started. The outcomes will outshine the failures. You'll be so respected and loved.
