🚨 It’s Time!!! 😱 We need your help! 🚨
Cookie, Chance, and Phoenix have already endured so much in their short lives. Each came to us as a stallion — burdened by the past, but full of potential for the future.
Our boys are ready to take the next big step in their journey to a safe and happy future: gelding! (Cookie & Chance are scheduled for 9/11, Phoenix will be done at a different appointment after that)
Thanks to a wonderful grant from the Equine Welfare Society, the actual gelding procedure itself is covered 🙌 — but we still need to fundraise for the remaining expenses:🐴 Farm call fees ($150x2=$300, vet will split the geldings over 2 visits)💊 Medications & aftercare (Sedation $50x3=$150, Excede $70x3=$210, Banamine $30x3=$90)❤️ Safe recovery (Tetanus $15x3=$45)
Altogether, we need your help to raise $795 so these stallions can move forward into less stressful, more adoptable lives. Gelding isn’t just about surgery — it’s about giving them the chance to live peacefully in a herd, to have less stress, and to open the door to brighter futures.- And of course - it also helps prevent more horses that may end up in need of rescue one day!
