today marks one year since one of the toughest moments of my life. and whether by endurance or sheer luck, i’m still here. i’ll be honest, i’m still struggling every day and things aren’t much better. but if i can get through it, i have faith you guys can too. every day poses new challenges and sometimes you’re still struggling with yesterday’s challenge. or last week’s, month’s or year’s. it’s okay to take a day to hide from all the problems, maybe two. and sometimes, those challenges will work themselves out. never forget that every day and challenge you’ve faced so far is a testament to your strength. and remember, if you ever need someone to talk to, i’m always here. as they say, a shared joy is a double joy and a shared sorrow is half a sorrow. <3

y’know the ACTUAL biggest culture shock i’ve had was the fact that moomin isn’t as popular in america as here in england. we’re no finland, but most people here know who moomin is. i thought that was the same with america until i found out that it’s WAY less popular there and now i’m sad. :(
