😌 I think sometimes we struggle to forgive or let things go because we’re looking at people from a human point of view instead of God’s. Our feelings get involved, and we allow that to take over. I recently had to deal with this in my own life, so I completely understand. And we can definitely stop the flow of God’s goodness in our lives because of what we have in our hearts against someone. Our pride gets involved. And if we’re honest, the hurt can feel justified. But the Bible says, “So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view…” (2 Corinthians 5:16 NLT). That means, as believers, we’re called to see people differently.
But forgiveness is not always reconciliation. It doesn’t mean you have to go back into that relationship. Forgiveness is simply obedience to what God has asked us to do. As He has forgiven us, we are called to forgive others (2 Corinthians 5:16).
Let’s pray 🙏🏽
Lord, help us release offense and let go of what we’ve been holding onto. Teach us to see people the way You see them. Give us Your heart. Help us love beyond our feelings and respond in a way that honors You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Bless you,
Stephanie ❤️

😌 Sisters, I think all of us have struggled with this. Before I gave my life to Lord, gossip was part of my EVERYDAY life. At work, about coworkers, about my boss, family, friends, about anybody who rubbed me the wrong way. If I didn’t like something about a person it had to come out of my mouth. I had no idea how grievous that was to God. But now that He lives in me, what I say matters to me in a way it never did before. Not saying I haven’t fallen short over the years, but I’m aware and I think before speaking.
And here’s something we need to understand because gossip is a hard issue and there’s a line we don’t always talk about. If you go to someone because you genuinely need help navigating a situation, that is different. But if you are going to them just to vent, just to talk about that person, that is gossip. You also have to be careful about whether the person you are telling knows the person you are talking about, because now they are looking at that person differently and that person was not even there to defend themselves or give their side of the story.
I remember one time I was telling someone about a situation and I never even gave a name. The person I was talking to had no idea who it was and God still corrected me. He knew who it was. And because my heart was offended, it offended Him. And the flipside to this is it not only corrupted me, but the other person I was dumping all of that negativity into. Our words are supposed to be edifying to others. 🫢
I don’t think we realize how serious gossip is to God. The Bible says in Proverbs 20:19 (TPT): “A gossip can’t keep a secret, so stay away from people who talk too much.” And Proverbs 18:21 says life and death are in the power of the tongue. That means we can actually bring destruction into our own lives by speaking ill of people, especially about other believers. That is not a small thing.
Because we can’t physically see God, I think we sometimes forget He is listening to every single word. Holy Spirit is easily grieved and if we are believers, He is living inside of us, which means what we say He hears from the inside out. For every believer there is a record and Matthew 12:36 says we will give account for every idle word we speak. Every one. A pastor once told us before we say anything, stop, take 45 seconds and filter it through your heart before you let it come out of your mouth. That little pause can save you from so much. We as believers are held to a higher standard…Let’s live like it. And as always, Holy Spirit can help us if this is a struggle! 🥰
🙏🏽 Prayer Confession:
Lord, I thank You that Your Word is a mirror and today it is showing me something I need to look at. Forgive me for every word I have spoken that did not build up, that was rooted in offense, or that I spoke without thinking about whether it honored You. I know You were listening every time and I ask for Your grace to cover what I cannot take back. Holy Spirit, I invite You to take anything out of me that grieves You. Every stony, stubborn part of my heart, make it tender toward You. Bridle my tongue from speaking evil and help me to pause before I speak and filter my words through love before I let them out. I declare that I am not the person I used to be. Death and destruction will not come through my lips. I choose life. I choose words that heal, build, and reflect the God who lives in me. In Jesus name, Amen.
Bless you,
Stephanie ❤️

😌 Have you ever needed direction or an answer from God about something in your life? The first place we should go is the Word of God. Before we read, we can pray, “God, speak to me through Your Word.” He will guide us and lead us to the right scripture. The Bible is not just a book that we read about God. John 1:1 tells us the Word is God, which means when we open our Bible, we are sitting in His presence and hearing His voice. Direction, clarity, correction, and peace are all in there. Hebrews 4:12 says the Word of God is living and active, which means it speaks and works inside of us, changing our thinking, bringing conviction, giving comfort, and leading us.
Sometimes what hinders us is in our own hands. Disobedience, unbelief, trials, tribulations, and discouragement can cause us to pull away and not want to read the Bible. But God never moves away from us, and His Word never loses power. When we feel confused, our first response should be to go to the Word before even going to a person. God speaks to us there, and the more we open it, the more we recognize His voice and hunger for His presence and answers.
A prayer 🙏🏽
Father, we ask that You give us a hunger and thirst for righteousness and for Your presence. Help us to go to Your Word first before going to anyone else. Holy Spirit, You are our Comforter, our Advocate, our Helper, and our Intercessor. Speak to us, guide us, teach us, and remind us of Your truth. Give us understanding as we read, make Your Word come alive to us, and draw us closer to You. Let us desire Your voice more than opinions and Your presence more than answers. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Bless you,
Stephanie ❤️

✝️ Today I asked God to really show me how special this day is. To help me not rush past it. Not treat it like just another day. This was the day Jesus knew the cross was coming. He knew the suffering. He knew the betrayal. He knew the weight of what He was about to carry. And He still kept walking in love and obedience for us. I want to feel the weight of it today and still rejoice that He did it. I don’t want to take this for granted, but at the same time worship Him and thank Him that Sunday is coming. Hallelujah 🙌🏽
Isaiah 53:5
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him; and by His stripes we are healed (physically and emotionally)!
Today I feel the weight.
Today I remember the love.
Today I rejoice that He chose us.
Thank You Jesus for the cross. 💜

🌼 Are you accepting the joy He offers? 😃 This is Holy Week. Jesus knew the cross was coming, and He still went. He suffered and endured pain so we could have real joy. Not based on circumstances. Not based on how we feel. Real joy that gives us strength.
The Bible says, “The joy of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10. When we feel tired, overwhelmed, or heavy, His joy holds us up. His joy carries us. His joy gives us strength to keep going. ✝️
🙏🏽 Prayer for you…
Lord, thank You for going to the cross for us. Thank You for the suffering You endured so we could have joy. Fill us with Your joy today. Strengthen our hearts. Lift every heaviness. Replace sadness with peace. Let Your joy be our strength this Holy Week. In Jesus’ name, amen.

⚠️ HE LIES! As we know, the enemy is the accuser of the brethren. He reminds us of every mistake. He tells us that we are a mess, that God is mad at us, and that we can’t do anything right. Those are lies. Jesus went to the cross for this very reason. That’s why Colossians 1:22 says we are holy, faultless, and blameless before Him. This doesn’t mean we can live however we want or sin on purpose and just keep repenting.
But it does mean we will mess up sometimes, make wrong decisions, and fall short. That should not be a lifestyle, but it happens. When it does, we repent, ask God to forgive us, and He does. Then we keep growing and let the Holy Spirit help us not repeat the same things. This is the promise we have in Christ. Our imperfect flesh still has redemption. We are not rejected. We are forgiven, being changed, and being made new. 🙌🏽
Bless you,
Stephanie ❤️

☀️ Some of you woke up this morning discouraged and not trusting God because things look hopeless. So here are some words that really spoke to me this morning. If you didn’t spend time with God when you first woke up, do that at some point today. Intimacy with Holy Spirit is important to Him. Intimacy shows faith, closeness, and a heart that wants Him. And that moves His hand. I hope these scriptures encourage you.
✨These are from the Passion translation Psalm 37:3-8
“Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God, and you will dwell in the land, feasting on his faithfulness.”
“Find your delight and true pleasure in Yahweh, and he will give you what you desire the most.”
“Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust him along the way, you’ll find he pulled it off perfectly!”
“He will appear as your righteousness, as sure as the dawning of a new day. He will manifest as your justice, as sure and strong as the noonday sun.”
“Quiet your heart in his presence and wait patiently for Yahweh. And don’t think for a moment that the wicked, in their prosperity, are better off than you.”
“Stay away from anger and revenge. Keep envy far from you, for it only leads you into lies.”

YES or NO… and tell me why. Should Christian women ask the men out or should they wait for the men to ask? Men, let me know your thoughts on this.

🗣️ Do you ever talk to God and just say random things sometimes? Well, I was talking to Him the other day. I said, “I want to be Your favorite. I want to be like Abraham, David, or Noah.” I even smiled a little when I said it because I was being lighthearted, but I meant it. It was one of those daughter-and-Father conversations where you need that spiritual hug.
So if we really look at those men and women, they didn’t get close to God because they were perfect. And no, God does not play favorites the way people do, but He responded and still responds to the heart. When you look at Abraham, David, Noah, Moses, Daniel, Mary, and Esther, none of them had it all together. Some of them messed up in big ways, but there was something in them God could trust.
• Abraham believed God even when it didn’t make sense
• David repented quickly and loved God deeply
• Noah obeyed when no one else did
• Moses stayed humble under pressure
• Daniel stayed faithful in a corrupt culture
• Mary said yes without needing all the details
• Esther was willing to risk her life for purpose
God is looking for something specific, and it’s not perfection….it’s A willing heart, Obedience when it’s hard, Faith when there’s no proof, Humility instead of pride AND Repentance instead of excuses.
So be encouraged, because we don’t become “God’s favorite (favored)” by getting everything right. We become someone He can trust by showing up, staying faithful, and staying surrendered. If we really want His favor, we don’t focus on the title. We focus on our heart. That’s what He responds to every single time.
But honestly… I still might ask Him if I’m His favorite again. Just sayin! 😅
Bless you,
Stephanie ❤️

Just a reminder to smile at someone today and even say, “Hi.” They may need to feel seen.
As we go about our day, it’s easy for us to stay focused on our own responsibilities and schedules. But many people around us are hurting quietly. Some feel lonely. Some have been rejected. Some feel unseen and go through their whole day without anyone noticing them. Some are carrying burdens no one knows about. A simple smile or kind greeting can remind someone they matter. Many times smiling and saying, “God loves you,” can make a difference. You might even stop and ask, “Would you like prayer for anything today?” God sees every person who woke up this morning. Let’s be people who notice others the way He does.
Bless you,
Stephanie 💛
