Scruhemian Trapsody

This is more than just a YouTube channel, it’s a movement, a vibe, a journey through the slowed-down, hypnotic world of Chopped and Screwed music. Born from the deep basslines of the South and infused with a rebellious, free-spirited energy, this channel celebrates the art of C&S

We take the hardest-hitting trap anthems, the smoothest R&B cuts, and the deepest underground gems, then flip them into dreamy, atmospheric, and cinematic soundscapes. Every track is chopped with precision, screwed with passion, and delivered with the raw energy that keeps the culture alive.

If you live for the heavy bass, the hypnotic echoes, and the deep vibes that let you float between time and sound, then welcome to 'Scruhemian Trapsody' where music isn’t just played, it’s felt.

I come to y'all with respect and honesty. with that being said, since nobody's willing to speak on this, I'll say it. In my opinion, C&S aint the same anymore. It's not as relevent as it use to be and should be. The art isnt hitting deep and hard as it definitely should be and the DJs play a huge role in its depletion. Honestly though, how long are we gonna keep overlooking at the possible potential that is 'ChoppedAndScrewed'. No shade or disrespect to H-Town but how long are we gonna keep excusing C&S DJs for screwmixing the same similar shit usually over only Houston-based artists with such mediocre effort? Let's face it, I think the only reason why people are even giving a fuck about this genre today is simply because we're constantly limiting our full-blown creativity and and potential due to our constant need for validation, recognition, high status, clout...etc and from personal observation, there's no doubt that C&S is only relevant if the DJs are just screwing popular hood anthems from either popular artists and usually nothing more. I could be wrong but like I said, somebody gotta atleast address it. What are y'alls thoughts on this?
