In the year 2042, the world has been ravaged by war and chaos. The few remaining sur-vivors are ruled by warlords, who control the land with an iron fist. A group of soldiers, led by Captain Jax are tired of living under the warlords' rule. They hatch a plan to steal the treasure of one of the warlords, hoping to start a new life. The plan goes awry, and the soldiers are forced to flee into the Shadowlands, a forbidden land that is said to be inhabited by terrifying creatures. The soldiers are pursued by the warlord's assassins, and they must also contend with the creatures of the Shadowlands. Along the way, they must learn to trust each other and work together… if they want to survive.
