In other news, we at the OhioDDR community have announced our biggest tournament yet, Mistake on the Lake 4: The Big Mistake, a 3 day Rhythm Game event at Round 1 Arcade in Mentor, Ohio on November 11th 2022! We will be having tournaments for Pump It Up, Dance Dance Revolution, Sound Voltex, and DANCERUSH STARDOM!

Spark Festival 2022 comes to a close!

OMES completed, the new song is currently uploading as we speak, and hopefully will serve as a good guide for those of you who want to study the chart before hand.

Thank you everyone who came out to the livestream (www.twitch.tv/eijiken please stop by, I stream every week Tuesday at 8PM EDT/Wed. 09:00 JST unless something comes up), it was a 4 hour stream that was intense and tiring! It's actually 04:00 (4 AM) as I type this!

That being said, I will have the remaining two normal charts uploading soon, and the Easy difficulty charts will be uploaded next week, along with re-uploads of Neon Rider and Ignited Night. I am going on a much needed vacation to Europe tomorrow for a week!

Hey all! A poll and a couple of quick announcements. (巻末に日本語訳を掲載。)


So if you may not have noticed, there are some videos that aren't present on the channel. These are the licensed songs that when I upload to the channel, get immediately copyright claimed. While copyright claims do not pose an inherent risk to the channel, it is annoying that they get flagged, and depending on the label, could put me at risk for a DMCA strike or takedown if the label wants to get aggressive enough. We have already seen plenty of channels lately get hit with massive strikes lately such as SilvaGunner and others.


I do this for the community at the end of the day. So I pose this to you:
Should I upload these charts as normal, or just let that be the task of TAKEPU/backup channel if needed? Thanks for your input! I look forward to the results.




Second, did you know I stream DANCERUSH? I stream weekly on Twitch and you should stop by! This is important because I always stream the events the moment they go live, so next week I will be streaming the conclusion (?) to the SPARK FESTIVAL 2021 AFTERPARTY! Hello all! Massive channel update! (巻末に日本語テキストを掲載。)

Last week marked 1 year that I have been uploading DANCERUSH STARDOM charts! First, I want to thank all of you who have subscribed, or even used my videos as a resource to practice at home during the pandemic and study charts to improve your scores or styling! This means a lot to me, and I'm so grateful for your support.

The quality has greatly improved greatly from a year ago, and I have all of you to thank with your feedback and recommendations. It's amazing that I have the privilege to be able to record and host a living set of charts along with ‪@takepudancerush‬ on YouTube. I decided to step up after his arcade he hosted footage at closed, and we talked on discord around the time and both saw value in having these videos out there.

A year later, we have multiple discords and sites hosting these videos, and myself along with others are actively keeping them updated there and on remywiki.com. There are also ambitious projects from people like Ouchaco who have an interactive DRS browser game that links to these videos, and will be linking that below, so check it out!

So I will be continuing to upload chart footage as it comes out, but here are some channel and video changes:

-TIMESTAMPS!
Many of you have let me know about how you sometimes hate having to sift through the early preview part, or even use extensions to do so. Now timestamps will be added to each video you can click on to jump straight into the action.

-Other Content
I don't do this for profit, but I sometimes would like to make other content that could take advantage of the algorithm for the growth of the channel, and I would like to maybe start posting other DRS related content such as scoring videos, choreography to songs, tutorial/help videos and maybe some of the dance I do outside of the game that could help! Please let me know your ideas.

I was aware that some places use a bot to automate grabbing videos the moment they go live, so to keep from interfering with these, all chart videos will start with 【DRS】 so please set your automation to look for that.

-Meetups
I will be doing a good deal of traveling this year! California, Maryland, Virginia, Arizona, Indiana, Germany, Poland, Australia are all on my list this year! Keep an eye out on the posts and let's hang out!

先週でDANCERUSH STARDOMのチャートをアップし始めてから1年が経ちました。まずは、購読してくださった方、そして、パンデミック時に自宅で練習したり、スコアアップやスタイリングのためにチャートを研究する材料として私の動画を使ってくださった方に感謝します! これは私にとってとても意味のあることで、皆さんのサポートにとても感謝しています。

1年前と比べ、品質は大きく向上し、フィードバックや推薦をしてくれた皆さんに感謝しています。YouTubeで@takepu dancerushと共に生きたチャートのセットを記録し、ホストできる特権を持つことは素晴らしいことです。彼が映像をホストしていたゲームセンターが閉店した後、私はステップアップすることを決めました。その頃、私たちはdiscordで話し、二人ともこれらの映像がそこにあることに価値を見出していました。

1年後、私たちはこれらのビデオをホストする複数のディスコードとサイトを持ち、私や他の人たちは積極的にそことremywiki.comでそれらを更新し続けています。また、Ouchacoのような、これらのビデオにリンクしたインタラクティブなDRSブラウザゲームを持つ人々の野心的なプロジェクトもあります。

-その他のコンテンツ
営利目的ではありませんが、チャンネルの成長のためにアルゴリズムを活用できるような他のコンテンツを作りたいと思うこともありますし、採点動画や曲の振り付け、チュートリアル・ヘルプ動画、ゲーム外でやっているダンスなど、DRS関連の他のコンテンツも投稿を始めるかもしれません！お役に立てるようなことがあれば、ぜひ教えてください。皆さんのアイディアをお聞かせください。

動画が公開された瞬間に自動で取得するボットを使っているところがあるようなので、その邪魔にならないように、すべてのチャート動画は【DRS】で始まりますので、それを探すように自動化を設定してください。

Hey all!

Sorry for the delay, if you haven't followed my Twitter, then you might not have known that I've been hurt for the past 3 weeks or so, and could barely play, on top of being sick for the past week.

Well, I've been healing up and decided to deliver the new songs and Aftermath today! (Yes, I played them in a brace, so ignore the scores, they're not great!)

Twitch streams will be on hiatus until the new year so I can heal, and the last songs will be on time to be uploaded the day they release.

Eclipse East freestyles will be uploaded soon. i promise!

Thank you everyone for getting me to 500 subs! I can now post channel updates!

I never thought I would be one of the people the Dancerush community looks to, but it's a dream come true. Never thought 2021 would be the year it has been, and I'm thankful to all of you for being part of it. Such growth in a short amount of time, it's crazy to think about.

Looking forward to doing more in 2022, so keep an eye out! With the pandemic still going, I will do my best to keep content flowing, but ultimately I will try my best to stay safe and you should too.
