I created the "EmuGames List" program for myself to compile and organize old games in my collection. A little backstory: I like old games starting from the 70s era and beyond. At one point, like most people, I thought retro gaming was just "Dendy" (NES) and Sega games, but their ROM packs got boring, and I became interested in other systems, including those that are little-known in our native lands. That's how I discovered the endless world of games for a large number of variously famous Japanese PCs from the 80s-90s. Over the years of this interest, I managed to connect with collectors of quite rare game archives, which they shared with me. But when I found that the volumes of information in these archives were quite large and chaotic, I decided to organize it somehow. At first, these were ordinary 7z archives, but navigating through them and visually displaying game screenshots was very inconvenient and difficult. So, for my own convenience, I decided to write a program that stores lists of games by systems and displays game screenshots and descriptions. It also allows displaying information about the "binary" content of the "ROM" in the form of a colored pixel image. There's also the ability to play the sound of raw data from any file, similar to the loading sound of a ZX Spectrum game from an audio cassette.

At the moment, the program works stably, and I periodically work on filling it. It already includes collections of games, software, and demos for: Apple I, P/ECE and currently in the process of adding Cybiko.
