hi friends. some of you have reached out to me to check in since i havenāt been uploading as much. i wasnāt planning on addressing it but i think that this kinda stuff isnāt talked about enough, so i did want to fill you guys in.
some of you have noticed that i havenāt posted vids or even uploaded to my community tab, and my instagram presence has been sparse too. all of which are not normal for me.
iām not really sure how to explain it, but there is a paralyzing anxiety that i have been feeling lately. both surrounding the nature of my content, and because my audience is growing; which of course brings in more thoughts, opinions and feedback. when i feel compelled to work on a video, itās like i talk myself out of it, worried that my next video wonāt be good enough, or that i cannot do victims justice well enough when i tell their stories.
iāve always avoided the spotlight so i suppose this youtube journey is helping me work through how i process having many eyes on me, and finding a level of comfort within that. posting to my channel when i had 100 viewers was a drastically different experience than it is now. i am, however, overwhelmingly grateful for my growth, and for all of you who have helped me over the last year or so get to where i am.
either way, i have been working through this little rough patch. i have drafts of 3 videos that i plan to release over the coming weeks to begin giving you consistent Sunday uploads like i used to. i love every single last one of you and i am so sorry that i havenāt been delivering, but that is going to change soon.
i felt that you deserved an explanation as to whatās happening with me! i havenāt abandoned my channel and i will be back like i never left this week.
