Guys, I realised that I should provide some info that could help to clarify the signal on the side COF of the 55" Samsung panel that I fiddled with in this horizontal line tutorialπ.

On my way home from work on the evening of October 22, 2024, I couldn't help but stop to take a picture of this sunset. I intentionally chose not to qualify it with expressions like "BREATH-TAKING". But if you think it's a captivating view, how about a like to the credit of the creator? πβ€οΈ

Even after 15 years of soldering TV screen COFs, I still make mistakes, and this mainly happens when I solder and film at the same time.π° The mistake made during this repair happened as I lined up the COF's tracks to the PCB pads, not realising that the COF was misaligned. Being a big COF, I didn't notice until I had supplied power to the TVπ... Would you like to see if I was still able to make this 55" TCL panel, Samsung TV work?

Guys, this is a follow-up to the post I made several days back. As shown in the first image, a force of impact π¨ caused a dent on the aluminum cabinet of this very durable 55" LG FHD TV with a GIP screen, resulting in some delamination (dark spot) of the glass substrates. Note that this generation of panels hardly ever experience the pravalent CANCERS (GIP or ITO shorts) common to more recent displays, particularly PANDA π GIP screens (example pic on the right), thus suggesting that newer screens being very prone to such failures on a large scale is purely intentional. SMH π£
Thanks to all who left a comment, whether right or wrong.πππ
