Glad you're enjoying the new #DriveEveryFerrari episode on the 458 Speciale Aperta - I had fun making it - I can't believe it's taken me so long to feature it on this series.

It's underperforming in terms of views, so that either means a) it's so sunny and no-one's in watching YT, or b) the DriveEveryFerrari series isn't that popular with you. I'll have to think of something else for future vids.

Slight change of plans folks, I will be going live with a reaction episode on the new Ferrari 296 Speciale & Aperta today instead of #DriveEveryFerrari. I just felt if I left it a week, the more topical episode would probably bomb, whereas the Drive Every Ferrari episode is timeless.

Greetings, friends of TheCarGuys.

Great news - We're back!

I am pleased to report that we have a new episode of #DriveEveryFerrari going live THIS FRIDAY at 5pm - that I hope you will enjoy.

Now, I know Jason and I have been quiet of late (130 days to be precise) , and I have to confess that for a variety of reasons my passion for cars has dwindled a bit. There are big changes coming to the CarGuys garage this year, and as you know this YouTube bobbins takes up an extraordinary amount of time for scant reward.

Nothing to do with you, you're still brilliant, and a big thanks to all of you who have enquired about my wellbeing.

This channel is a personal passion project and since we get no benefit from YouTube (in fact we have been actively suppressed in some cases), the making of these videos must come entirely from a desire to communicate and entertain you.

If I don't feel there's anything to say, I won't just fill the airspace with pointless twaddle for views or to meet a schedule. Hence why I haven't covered any new cars (yawn), commented on any big automotive news stories (bigger yawn), or cosied up to any manufactures for free stuff.

Unless I can contribute something meaningful or relevant, I just stay quiet.

Which is why I will be talking about the new Ferrari 296 Speciale very soon. And some other juicy issues affecting me and you when it comes to driving in the world today.

So I guess if I am saying anything, it's thank you for being so patient. I hope you enjoy future episodes, spread the word, subscribe, let me know your thoughts in the comments. I will try to appear a little more often in future

Okay, I couldn’t resist it. I’ve made an episode on the recent developments at Jaguar.

Now, whilst obviously there is considerable scope for Mickey-taking, I have also tried to look into the reasons behind Jaguar’s seemingly inexplicable new direction, and offered my thoughts on its chance of success.

I took my time, because I feel you deserve quality and depth rather than pure reaction.

There is very little chance that I will be on Jaguar’s Christmas card list for the foreseeable future.
