Today, I read about the Jeffrey Epstein case, and honestly, my heart feels very heavy. I am not here to talk about gossip, famous names, or conspiracies. I am here because I can’t stop thinking about the victims. I feel really sad for them. What they went through was not their choice. They were young, powerless, and trusted the wrong people in a world where powerful people were protected. Sometimes we forget that behind big headlines and viral news, there are real human beings. People who were hurt. People whose voices were ignored for years. People who had to live with trauma while others continued their lives like nothing happened.
Reading about this made me angry, but more than that, it made me feel helpless. Because justice came too late or maybe it never fully came at all. Sometimes, no matter what happens, justice never truly comes. Even when it does, it comes too late after the damage is already done.
I also realized how easy it is for society to focus on who is named instead of who was harmed. The victims deserve more than silence. They deserve to be believed, respected, and remembered.
I am sharing this not for views, not for drama, but because empathy matters. Feeling someone else’s pain matters. If even one person reads this and understands that abuse is never the victim’s fault, then speaking up is worth it. To anyone who has been hurt and never got justice you deserved better. You still do.
