Thank you to everyone who has supported our little studio in the city for the past 10 years! I don't really follow the numbers, I create for the love of creating but I was very happy to see we hit 4k subs. I hope this archive has been of some use to you, whether it's the HD or VHS content that brought you here. I hope it has somehow enriched your work and it is my promise to continue. These are very difficult times, particularly in the United States and I think it's incredibly important to always be moving forward and working on the next thing, if only to entertain ourselves while everything burns. I want to encourage everyone to keep at it, and make this world a better place by putting our talents and abilities to good use, it's a short trip. Thank you again -Crump

Salt Lake has a curious history of brewing and distilling despite what people may think. This advertisment was hidden by another building in Old Greek Town just up the street from me. Germans such as the Fisher Family (you've seen their mansion on this channel) settled in the area and brought their brewing skills with them. Prohibition would put an end to this some decades later. My mother's side was German and Mormon but conveniently brewed beer all through the prohibition, John L my Great Grandfather would feign surprise there were no 'near beer' options at the 711 and would "have" to buy the real stuff. If you're ever in SLC, try the Lime Pilsner from Uintah, a favorite of mine!

A closer look at the Living Corpse puppet used in 'The Girl's Ranch'. The sculpt was done by myself, in paper mache and resin. Stephanie Fitzgerald controlled the head throughout the production. We were fortunate enough to get what I needed in one session, it was a very cold night and sometimes VHS doesn't quite work the way you want. #analoghorror #vhs #foundfootage #monsters

Because it was an all analog production (except for editing), I chose to use Polaroids to document 'The Girl's Ranch' for both continuity and creating a physical album of its production. We had a few sessions, a marinara explosion and various shots of the cats jumping on the table while we were filming.

I've really enjoyed the garden this summer, I've made hot sauce, tons of pickles, sundried/smoked tomatoes, various sauces etc. Very blessed to have had this spot for so many years.
