Just a reminder that if you’re in an area with severe winter storms and/or cold weather to keep yourself as well as your pets nice and safe. Don’t get upset if your dogs have accidents in the house- they don’t wanna go outside anymore than you do (unless they’re a husky or Samoyed lol). In the case of a power outage, get all pets in one small room (besides keeping dogs or cats in the same room as reptiles, rodents, birds, etc, in which case put them all in carriers in a different small room). If you don’t have a generator, keep pets warm by giving rodents extra hay/bedding, covering bird cages/carriers with blankets, fill water bottles with hot water, cover them with towels and place them in cages/carriers, or use socks filled with dried rice and microwave them. If the microwave or faucet don’t work, just use blankets or hand warmers. Stay safe!
