Cued Speech is used in this family and if you don’t Cue you’re not family. United we stand…divided we fall.

Family Cues

Better yet teach them to sing and cue simultaneously so there could be a whole Cued Speech Production of any musical or performance!

Family Cues

Day whatever: we had such a wonderful time at the #soundofmusic at the #kennedycenter last night. While his school performed it last spring and I had to cue the first act for him (even though I placed a request) I was too tired to cue the second act. But last night! … was SO professionally provided! The CLTs in person had their own limelight so you could see their expressions and cues and were acknowledged at curtain call with a standing ovation for them too! Outstanding! There was a sign in the lobby that the performance had sign language but it is cued language (just fyi - first thing I learned as a mom). There was also a booth for hearing access by headphone (even though we know that’s not enough) The professional cues really helped us in the Cued Speech Seats (including my son)! So friends please get your children to learn Cued Speech to be a professional Transliterator someday so Auggie can request them to cue for him in person as we wish for this for him in school - and the rest of his life to enjoy all life has to offer! The more people who order the Cued Speech Seats the more we can keep this access alive! Please don’t let it die! Much love. Peace. Thank you to the CLTs and their agency and @kennedycenter !!!
