There is good news today! 🥳🎉

I wanted to give an update on our longtime viewer, turned friend Amber. I did multiple videos telling the story of how she escaped Egypt to the US with her two precious babies. Also, Amber has started a new job!

As of today, Amber has full legal custody of her children. The order is temporary, but it's an amazing start, and this all of because of you guys being so kind.

Amber was starting from nothing, and she reached out to us to ask if we could help. Because of your generosity, $12,611 has been raised for Amber. Since the GoFundMe, this is what you have helped Amber achieve...

-Funds to retain a lawyer, which was $3,500
-Funds for her retainer account for future legal fees that will accrue
-Clothes for her new job
-Her daughter's daycare while she worked
-Winter clothes for her children

Thanks to everyone who liked the videos, shared them, donated to the GoFundMe. Currently, we have reached 85% of the intended amount to raise. If you want to continue helping Amber as she rebuilds her life, link is below.🩷

"Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I couldn't have done this without each donation. You're all amazing and have changed my and the kids lives. I feel safer now. You have no idea how much you've changed our lives." ~Amber

Afghan women and children are suffering...

And I want to do something about it.

Does anyone know any Afghan single mothers or widows that are in need? Does anyone know about any charities that are reputable where the money directly benefits the women and children? I am exploring some ideas here, and if anyone is familiar with how money transfer works over there, or how I can directly help, please leave a comment below.

Why is it that plastic surgery is considered so awful in Islam? Why does Allah insist that nobody is allowed to improve their looks? I mean even plucking eyebrows is forbidden. What gives? Why was Muhammad so insistent about not "changing the creation of Allah"?

Because Islam is all about control. Watch our latest video to learn more: https://youtu.be/C0-0QbSs6j4

Mut'ah marriage, aka temporary marriage for a sum of money, is something Sunnis scorn and condemn as "some vile Shia practice." I've heard speakers say "I tell the Shias, would you let your daughter do this?? It's prostitution"

This begs the question though. Who initially allowed it? Muhammad did.

Sahih al-Bukhari Volume 6, Book 60, Hadith 139:
Ibn Mas’ud said: “We used to participate in battles with the Messenger of Allah and had no wives with us, so we said: ‘Shall we castrate ourselves?’ He forbade us that and then allowed us to marry a woman temporarily by giving her a garment (as dowry).”

If you condemn it, you are condemning him. If you can't see how its different than prostitution, ask your prophet why he allowed it but forbade prostitution.

If its so great, why did Omar ban it?

Again, I am amazed at this community...

To everyone who donated again to Amber's cause, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Amber and I talk very regularly these days, usually checking in with one another, asking how one another is doing, how our kids are doing, what's happening with her lawyers. At one point, I was going through some stress of my own and I went quiet. Of course, Amber reached out to me and asked how I was and it made me realize how good of a friend she has become to me.

Yesterday, she texted me and said she added funds from the recent GoFundMe to her account she has with her lawyer. She said this...

"Just paid some towards the lawyer. So grateful to you all."

So far guys, we raised $12,056 for Amber to fight for her children and start her life over. Because of legal fees that will continue to add up over time, we moved the goalpost to $15,000.

If you can like this post, share it with friends, family, and your community, or even donate just $5 yourself, we will be forever grateful. We are almost there with 15k, and it would be truly amazing to see that goal being reached.

My husband and I were talking about why I feel such a need to help someone I never met. I told him it's because I was once that person, someone who was going through something awful, and I feel like society forgot about my daughter and I, didn't care about us. I feel it's my duty and responsibility as a human being to care about women who are being overlooked by society, not cared about as much as they should be. This is one of the ways I recreated myself in the aftermath of my own loss and found purpose in pain, to be the person I needed when I was hurting.

Thank you to everyone who has cared about Amber and her children. You guys truly are the best.
