The Dragon Riders Squadron has deployed to the Caucasus.
Our position is simple:
**One airbase. Batumi.**
Everything beyond it must be fought for.

This weekend was a little different...
Instead of climbing into his usual F/A-18, Punch dusted off the F-16 and joined me for a precision strike mission over the Persian Gulf.
I'd forgotten how much fun it is flying formation with two Vipers.

I AM BACK! After the short hiatus, and being cleared by the flight surgeon, tomorrow we will pick back up with the SAM Academy. The SA-8 is a sneaky little system that can and has surprised pilots! Check it out tomorrow at 5pm Central Time.

Unfortunately, there will not be a video today.
I had a medical procedure and have been grounded by the flight surgeon. Sitting in the cockpit for extended periods is kind of painful.
Recovery is going well and I appreciate you all supporting me. I will be back in the cockpit as soon as i can!

Last nights flight with Punch was fun, and a good scud hunting mission. Unfortenately, I had trackIR issues where it kept disconnecting and flipping my view. The recording quality is not good so there wont be a video today. I appreciate the understanding.
