The Vultures are an Australian Alt Rock band consisting of Liam Bowditch and Joe Bon MacPhail. Forming in 2013 in Yugambeh/Gold Coast, Australia, their musical journey began at the tail end of primary school where swapping CDs and guitar tabs quickly evolved into a full-blown sonic collaboration.

In 2019 The Vultures ventured to Berlin to begin working on new music, a journey that would eventually lead them to Melbourne during the COVID-19 lockdowns of 2020. For six months they worked on music together in isolation before returning home to the Gold Coast and releasing their debut album ‘Escobar’ in late 2022. ‘Escobar’ has since racked up over 200k streams, 3x Gold Coast Music Award nominations and plays on Triple J Unearthed and MTV Australia.

The Vultures released their second album, ‘Chaos Reflections’ in 2026, a darker addition to their catalogue exploring love, loss and inner chaos.
