“All these pills but I’m still sick, say my prayers I’m still not fixed” ❤️‍🩹 “Skin and Bones” is OUT NOW. These lyrics are my most vulnerable yet and I’m so grateful to my cowriters for giving me a safe space to finally talk about my journey with chronic illness. I struggle with gastroparesis, Barrett’s esophagus, IBD, chronic migraines, a pituitary adenoma, and I’m down two organs (lol). The acid reflux destroyed my esophagus early on and really impacted my ability to sing, so this song is such a testament to persevering. This song is for anyone that feels like their body is working against them. It’s tough having big goals and wanting to do it all and live life to the fullest, but at times being physically unable to do so. Proceeds from streaming will go to @digestivehealthmatters to help further research, patient advocacy, and community. Since I have a rare gastrointestinal disorder, I am SUPER passionate about working with them and can’t wait to do more to push progress forward.

IT'S "GOOD ON MY OWN" RELEASE WEEK!!
I wrote this song w Chris Liggio after a week spent creating in New York (and listening to a lot of Fleetwood Mac). I was going through old lyrics as Chris created the track and found half a verse tucked away in a file from years ago. It really brought me back to that perspective and I wanted to write the song I needed at that time. After a little while of going nonverbal, reworking some lines, and jotting down new ones, I looked up and asked everyone if we all agree patron is good on its own. After a unanimous "yes", I said I think I've got something really good and I've been excited about it ever since :) so this song is a letter to old me, and now, current you.
