I’m honestly getting sick of this. As someone who likes Lumine, Aether does NOT deserve this hate.
I ship Columbina × Lumine, and I’m also fine with Columbina × Aether. So what—does that automatically make Columbina a “waifu”?
Columbina drawing Aether’s face just means she misses the Traveler more....doesn't mean she doesn't miss other character

Of course Columbina feels close to the Traveler..but are we forgetting that both Lumine and Aether were literally meeting Columbina every week?
They played together, went outside when she was scared, and shared so many moments. Not to mention the amount of time spent together in the Archon Quest. Of course they’re close.

And the Traveler missing her is normal...just like Arlecchino, sandrone Varka, and other Nod-Krai people.
Columbina missing the Traveler more doesn’t mean she doesn’t miss others.
So what exactly is Aether’s fault here?
My boy did nothing wrong.
What is he going to do if columbina miss him more..?? Tell her to stop cuz it's waifu bait..??

And people still lose their minds just because a man is shipped with their “waifu.”
People ship Columbina with Lumine (like me), Arlecchino, Sandrone—and that’s apparently fine.
And it's apparently wrong when you ship columbina with aether??

So why don’t people hate Sandrone?

Why don’t they hate Lumine?

Why don’t they hate Arlecchino?

It’s so obvious: people just can’t stand seeing a man shipped with their waifu.

If you think Columbina is “waifu bait,” then what—only for the Traveler?
She spent time with others too. It’s not just the Traveler, and it’s definitely not his fault.

Also, fanon Columbina had way more potential.
Fanon Columbina could be close to anyone, and that doesn’t automatically mean romance.
People ship them...and that’s fine.

But when Kaveh × Alhaitham is shipped, suddenly it’s not “fanservice”?
Why don’t people hate them then?
I’ve also started playing Wuwa, and it’s honestly amazing. I love the chemistry between Rover and other characters, especially Shorekeeper...and no one loses their mind over it.
I really wish this fandom could be like that.
