Big applause to the dance crew at the MMA performance. The entire arrangement was outstanding, and the dancers weren’t just there to fill space, they genuinely elevated the creative vision of the performance. The last time I saw this level of impactful dancer involvement was in SEVENTEEN’s “Super” stage. Jennie and everyone involved did an excellent job.
As an Indian myself, I did notice the similarity in the remix too. But instead of seeing it as cultural appropriation, I see it as a win as an Indian Blink. That said, I don’t excuse or support their past actions especially those weird dance moves. I do hold them accountable, and I genuinely hope BLACKPINK, along with other idols, address and apologize for those moments someday. What I don’t agree with is the level of abuse being thrown around. Calling her “btch” and “bakchod aurat” just because a part sounded like a 70s Bollywood song is a reach. If we’re going to start talking about “stealing,” Bollywood itself doesn’t exactly have a clean record either but that conversation is conveniently ignored. Criticism is fair. Accountability is necessary. But calling someone a “dck licker” over this crosses the line. Disagreement doesn’t justify dehumanization. Most of these disgusting comments are coming from Indian men and ARMYs. Just saying it out loud..y’all are genuinely disgusting. And the most hypocritical part? The account that started all of this..“Indian aesthetic” on X is a fangirl of that band...Like… what is this selective outrage? If you’re genuinely so offended by Jennie performing a remix made by Diplo, how do you then turn around and comfortably enjoy content from a group that’s done the same, if not worse? By all means, hold idols accountable and call them out when needed but what’s with the disgusting name calling?
When you’ve lowkey had the ick about a celebrity for ages and they finally give you a solid reason to dislike them out loud? Honestly, it feels like a relief. And yes..before anyone asks, I’m talking about Nicki Minaj.
It feels like barely anyone is talking about this, and that silence feels unfair..like selective humanity all over again. So I want to use whatever platform I have to share the truth. Even if my audience is small, I’d still be glad to explain what actually happened.
A Hindu man in Bangladesh was brutally lynched and his body set on fire by a mob on the night of 18 December 2025 in Mymensingh’s Bhaluka area after unverified allegations that he had insulted Islam and the Prophet Muhammad. The victim, identified as Dipu Chandra Das, a garment factory worker, was beaten to death, his body was tied to a tree and later set ablaze, with videos of the violence circulating on social media.
This isn’t the first time something like this has happened, yet for some reason the violence and hatred against minorities in Bangladesh barely gets talked about. Just to put things in perspective..in July 2025, a Hindu community in Gangachara (Rangpur district) was attacked, with around 15–20 homes vandalised and looted over allegations of desecration. In April 2025, a prominent Hindu leader in Dinajpur (Brahmaputra side) was kidnapped and beaten to death, and reports said dozens of Hindu properties were vandalised while hundreds of homes were damaged amid rising violence. How long is this supposed to keep going on?.
I was going through my personal diary, which I last updated on the day I moved here, and I realized I’d written some things that could definitely get me cancelled. The first entry is from 2017, and it literally took me five minutes to decode my own handwriting. But back then, I was so bold while writing..so unfiltered that what I wrote could probably offend every community at once.
