Hey everyone, I have some news that I wish I didn’t have to make.
On April 22 of this year, while travelling back to my college from my home after the Easter break, I lost a bag containing my laptop and headphones on the London Underground. By the time I realised I didn’t have it, it was too late.
As a result of this, any and all WIPs and finished scores have now gone as well. This also means that I no longer am able to work on any projects either, since I also no longer have access to my notation software. This has also put the completion of final tasks for year 1 of my degree in very serious jeopardy as well.
I have made requests to TfL, as well as the other train companies just in case I lost my bag with them, but until I know what the situation regarding my bag and ultimately my laptop is - whether it’s been found, stolen, destroyed - I will not be able to work on any music.
If anyone has any suggestions about what I can do to ensure that my items are recovered safely ASAP, I would be of the deepest and sincerest gratitude and appreciation.
Big “thanks” to Musescore for making it 10x harder to share my music online. Don’t know why this happened, but I’ll still continue to make score videos where I can, and hopefully to an even better standard than before. I’ll also be posting here and there to my Instagram page (@cgcomposer), and continue to remain active on Discord too (arco_cgc).
