I remember the day I bought my laptop and phone, last days of August, after my birthday, last year, I told myself, "It's time. I want to do something for myself."
So I dipped into my savings and got them. It meant everything to me.
I was so happy, I posted the unboxing on my Snapchat... without even saving it first (still hurts thinking about it.
Then someone I thought was a friend came into my DMs and said,
"Who is the man that did this for you? This is big... you finally found a big man."
I was so upset.
Don't ever downgrade my hard work like that.
You cannot watch me put in the effort, stay consistent, grow, and then reduce my wins to a man funding my life. That's not just wrong, it's disrespectful.

Yes, people can support you. Yes, men can do things for you. But don't take away from the sweat, the discipline, and the work l put in to get here. are up ahead
I blocked her. Everywhere.
Because if you can't see my effort, you don't deserve access to me.
My wins are mine. My growth is mine. My story is mine…. God is Good!
