Merry Christmas and Happy New Years! 2025 was a crazy and challenging one. From having lost the lower end on the port motor, to an intermittent failure on the tilt function on the binnacles, to a no start on the port motor, and replacement of a starter solinoid, we ended up missing a lot of fishing. The controller on the Zipwake 450S went out, and it took some time to work through those issues, as well. Had to replace a battery and a water pump switch... Dang! Boats! Love em and hate em.

And when we did fish it just didnt seem like we had our shit together and we weren't firing on all cylinders... the two trips to Cabo helped get our head straight, though!!

Thanks to all of you that took the time to watch the vids, and follow along. I appreciate all of the positive feedback. Here's to a better season next year!

We ran on a rare fall weather window a few days ago. Went out 78 miles. We saw very little tuna signs. They were there, but not in numbers, and we just couldnt turn a bite on. The cloro shot was mixed. We did find a 6x6 mile bubble of 59-60* water and thats where all the bait was concentrated. Three other boats ran and two of the boats caught one tuna each. All in all beautiful day of fishing w good friends...

We were set to do some fall tuna fishing. We had a killer sat shot where chloro and temp lined up for a clean break line. Drove to Newport, stayed the night, next morn i was setting up and found the port motor was a no tilt/no start again. Pulled the plug and sent everyone home. Sorry, guys!

Boat goes back to stevens marine. Unfortunately this is the fourth time weve had similar problems in the last two season. Im sure theyll figure it out. Its been a tough year for the Gunslinger. With the port motor gear box seal lost/unit replaced, the zipwake repair, and three issues with the port motor/binnacle its been a brutal year.

We picked up the boat on Thursday. Thanks to Stevens Marine Gladstone for the repair and quick turn around time. We'll hopefully be back to chasing the tuna tuesday morning.

Passed 1,000 subscribers last week! Crazy. Never thought that would happen.

We were all lined up saturday, set and ready for tuna fishing, team assembled, splashed the boat and no tilt and no start on the port motor. We pulled the boat and i went through the fuses and connectors. Couldnt find the issue. Boat goes to marine repair Tuesday. It's been a crazy year. I know my guys were disappointed but they stayed postive. Hang in there. Thanks.
