Bill Morton Rogers Park

For years, people have asked me why I continue to stay involved in Rogers Park.

The answer is simple.

I believe leadership is about bringing people together to solve problems.

Whether it was founding the Rogers Park Chamber of Commerce, organizing job fairs, supporting school supply drives, helping create community guides, building partnerships between businesses and nonprofits, or bringing neighbors together around local issues, the goal has always been the same: connect people, build relationships, and get things done.

I believe every resident deserves a voice.

I believe every resident deserves a responsive, open, and welcoming aldermanic office.

I believe government should be accessible, accountable, and transparent.

I believe opportunity should be available to everyone.

And I believe the best solutions come from bringing people together—not dividing them.

Those values shape my campaign for 49th Ward Alderman.

My platform is built on three priorities:

1. Public Safety & Neighborhood Vitality
Safe streets, clean neighborhoods, responsive city services, and strong community partnerships that improve quality of life for everyone.

2. Affordable Housing & Community Stability
Protecting affordability, encouraging responsible investment, preserving neighborhood character, and ensuring Rogers Park remains a place where people can afford to live, work, and build their future.

3. Economic Growth & Workforce Development
Supporting local businesses, filling storefronts, creating job opportunities, connecting employers with workers, and strengthening our local economy.

As your alderman, my role will not be to do everything myself.

My role will be to serve as a catalyst.

A connector.

A problem solver.

Someone who brings together residents, businesses, community organizations, city departments, developers, investors, schools, faith communities, and neighborhood groups to achieve results.
Everyone will be welcome in my office.

Everyone will have a voice.

And together, we can build a stronger future for Rogers Park.
