If you are interested in English culture, British people, and the history of Christmas, I made this video 2 years ago!
Yes the editing is not so great - and the lighting is poor but the content is still interesting and relevant! Youtube is a learning journey and I think I am finally getting the hang of it...
Hope you enjoy!

Apparently we can have conversations here… a new YouTube feature!
So - what’s the most difficult part of English or learning a language in general and do you have any tips for anyone else who might be struggling?

💪 New English Course 👍
Do you work in a hotel? A restaurant? A sales room?
💥 Do you often feel frustrated because you can’t respond quickly enough, or professional enough when customers complain or have issues? Maybe sometimes you can tell a customer is about to get angry, but you don't have all the vocabulary to reassure them or calm them down? 💥
This course might be just the thing you are looking for!
🧠You may not know this about me but I have worked in customer service for OVER 16 years. 🧠
🍦My first job was selling ice cream on the beach and I worked many different sales positions until I found myself in Marketing, before I finally trained to become a Business English teacher. 🍦
Due to my experience and knowledge a lot of students come to me because they want customer service help.
Which is the exact reason I started working on an 'English for Customer Service' course which is now available on Udemy! ⬇️⬇️
www.udemy.com/course/english-language-for-customer…
✅The course deals with difficult customers, upselling, essential vocab, giving and receiving feedback, the customer journey and of course greetings and farewells. ✅
💸 I am currently offering 50% off for any new sign ups before December! Use the link above and the discount will automatically be applied. 💸
And as it is a new course - it would be great if you could review it and leave me feedback!!
🌟 Sending you my wishes and successful thoughts for your English language journey! 🌟

This was an ad for a game but I thought it might be fun to test your English - how many words can you find?

Hi! Just a little research - if you could help me by answering the following question:
If you were to have English lessons / If you have had English lessons in the past, do you prefer 1 on 1 private lessons, or group lessons with a cheaper price point and structured learning?
You can let me know why in the comments!
Thank you in advance!

An English poem, by poet Brian Bilston.
My dad sent this to me when he overheard me teaching a student some synonyms, and I thought it was funny and clever.
🖌️🖌️🖌️🖌️
Roger’s Thesaurus
In order to grow, expand, widen
his lexicological corpus,
Roger bought, acquired, purchased
a synonymopedia, a thesaurus.
Soon, presently, without delay,
he no longer ran out of things to say,
speak, utter, express, articulate,
give voice to, pronounce, communicate.
This was all very well, fine, great,
wonderful, super, terrific
but his friends, mates, pals found him
boring, tedious, dull, soporific.
So let this be a warning,
an omen, a sign, a premonition,
it’s all very well to show learning,
education, knowledge, erudition,
but here’s a top tip, a hint,
a suggestion, some advice,
don’t ever let it stop you
from being concise

This could be quite difficult to understand if English is your second, or even third language but it made me laugh this morning.
People are often very upset when people make grammatical errors, but the beauty of language is that you can have fun with it and connect with like minded individuals.

Very helpful article for the verbs ‘MAKE’ and ‘DO’.
Do you still struggle with these two verbs?
