My name is Dina Norlund and I am an illustrator and character designer from Norway. Most of my career has been focused on design, so when I illustrate I apply what I know of designing and problem solving that I learned as a concept artist. I'm inspired by nature, magic and kids' imagination. I often draw on stories from my own childhood memories when creating my projects and books.
I work primarily in Procreate on an iPad Pro 12.9” (2020) with a 2nd gen Apple Pencil. But I also enjoy experimenting with pencil, pen and watercolor. We are so happy to announce that the Kickstarter for our documentary film about
Dina reached its goal today!
It is simply amazing that so many people have supported us. Through this
crowdfunding we will be able to continue the work of getting the film fully funded.
We will now develop the script, edit and shoot new footage, and apply for funding from
the Norwegian Film Institute, international film funding schemes and more.
With 17 days left in the project, we are excited to see where we end up. Thank you

Dear all. This is a sad message from Dinas parents, Peder and Lene. As many of you will already know, Dina passed away feb 22. After two and a half year of bravely fighting her cancer, she finally lost.

I can't believe I haven't posted a video in so long! It's a very weird feeling... But now Snow Cat has been sent off to print, I'm dealing with all the extra small things here and there and I will be planning a new video hopefully for next week! I want to spend more time on my videos so I'm excited to start scripting a bit more than what I usually do. Hello everyone! Just a small announcement: I’ve decided to take the next two Fridays off from making videos! I’ve been needing a break for a while and after finishing all 124 pages of the Snow Cat Prince (omg yay) I burned myself out and couldn’t pre-make a few before visiting family. But I think it was just a sign to take it easy and I’ll be back and rested in January for new cool projects ❤️ Also since there won’t be a Patreon postcard video here is the December Magic Cat package for my Patreons!
