It’s a three headed chicken, and each time one leaves the nest box 2 more jump in to take its place. . . But seriously, why do all my leghorns only use a single box when others are free? It’s weird.

Peanut is laying eggs on top of her baby!

After just over a month raining her baby, peanut has had enough being a mother and is wanting to get back to her normal life, but little baby speckles won’t let Peanut get away from them that easily.

Also I’ve posted 4 images, you might need to scroll to the side to see them in the shorts feed.

Anyways, Peanut and her baby are really cute, and I’ve recorded a few videos on it that I’ll be able to edit when I have time and when I get my new editing space set up. But YouTube has made some new changes recently that are going to give me a lot of trouble with my future shorts, but I’ll discuss it in my livestream today that’s happening a few hours after this is posted.

Howdy everyone, sorry for being gone for a while, I was in Ottawa visiting family, but I’m home now!

I’ve attached a bunch of photos from my trip.

Now that I’m back to the farm I’ll go back to my usual streaming schedule, so I should be live again this weekend around my usual time! The hens are all doing well, and the geese are doing well too. Also the little baby peacock is doing really well. I’ve named her speckles after my late hen of the same name and peanut is still happily raising her little speckles!

I might make a video about the different birds I found in Ottawa, but the fun random videos I really like making don’t do very well, so I’ll have to see how to make it work properly. Some of my favourite videos are the spur of the moment videos about random wild animals I find. When I’m in Australia again I want to go back to my roots and make simple videos feeding the seagulls again. I really enjoy those.

Anyways I got some comments asking where I was, don’t worry I’m not dead! Ok bye now until next time! Have a good one, hope you’re all doing well!

Peanut’s baby finally hatched! She is now the proud momma of a tiny baby peacock!

It’s a tiny pied peachick, and I’ve named her Speckle in honour of my late hen Speckles. She looks like a regular baby chicken but with long legs and a long face, and she’s really cute!

Also I’ve discovered several large families of baby ducks living in my sewage pond. One day they just randomly showed up here, and since I promised to show off wild ducks in the past here they are now!

YouTube just took down my recent post about my terminally ill chicken for a bogus copyright violation!

I used 2 photos in that post which were BOTH taken BY ME! And now YouTube took it down. I can’t appeal this decision or otherwise YouTube will share my full legal name and address with the false claimant, effectively doxxing me and risking the safety of both me and my animals.

This is unacceptable.

Edit: so apparently the post is still up??? I have no clue what’s happening man. I have had a terrible day with my hen slowly dying on me and I don’t need to deal with this AI moderation hallucination garbage.

Sorry for the lack of posts recently, little speckles has prolapsed randomly and I’ve been trying to fix it for the last 2 days. . .

Apart from the prolapse she’s in great health and I’ve been keeping her isolated so she’s not getting pecked at, so I’ll keep trying to help her.

As for peanut, her single surviving egg is supposed to hatch in about 3 days!

That’s just a little update, I’ve had a lot of unpleasant work to do, and I need to keep doing it.

Happy Canada Day everyone! 🇨🇦 The chickens dressed red and white for the occasion!

I wore my nice red shirt for the day too, there are events happening all around. It’s nice seeing the community get together like this.
