Web Village Voyage

Welcome to Web Village Voyage (WVV)!

I'm here to share what I learn about software engineering, programming, and related topics, and to help others navigate these sometimes difficult subjects more easily.

My approach is to break down complex topics and make them accessible to everyone, regardless of their level of expertise. My goal is to create a supportive community of learners who can help each other grow and improve.

Currently, I'm working on a Functional Programming playlist, but I plan to cover a variety of programming topics in the future. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced coder, my channel will have something for you.

I encourage you to get involved in the community by commenting on my videos, asking questions, and sharing your own insights. Together, we can learn and grow.

Thanks for joining me on this journey. Let's explore the world of software engineering and programming together!

I've noticed that my latest videos aren't getting as many views, even though I believe they are beneficial. Creating these videos is time-consuming, and I'm considering whether to focus my efforts elsewhere or to monetize some of my content. What do you think?

Greetings, fellow Voyagers,

There's a level-up coming for video "28 - Functor Composition"! I noticed some frame rate issues that made it look a bit laggy. To fix that, I'm working on a new version with smoother visuals. No changes to the content itself, but you can expect a crisper viewing experience!

Greetings, fellow Voyagers,

I hope this message finds you well and deep into your coding explorations! Today, I'm excited to share a significant update that adds another layer to our collective journey.

Did you know that Village has a Patreon account? It's been quietly joining us on our exploration, and I'm genuinely thrilled to shine a spotlight on it.

Our adventure into functional programming has been remarkable, enriched by your support. For those who've shown curiosity about contributing more directly, you can explore the Patreon page:

patreon.com/webvv

I'm also enabling YouTube Membership for those who want to support me and my channel but don't feel like going to totally different platform to do so.

It's important to emphasize that supporting through Patreon or YouTube is entirely optional. Your presence as fellow Voyagers in our community is extremely valued, and we're all part of this coding journey together.

Thank you for being an integral part of our Web Village Voyage family. ♥️

As you may noticed, I hid videos "22- Higher-kinded Type" and "23- Type Class". To be honest, one of the reasons I'm creating these videos is for me to deeply look into each concept, understand them completely and share what I learned with everyone.

I know the challenge of learning Functional Programming, specially in TypeScript. There are not enough resources and I really really want to make this process easier and smoother for others who are passionate about FP like me, but can't spend the time and energy to do so.

When I was working on video 24th, which was a demo video on how to implement HKT in TypeScript, I felt I could have done much better job on the previous two videos. So I hid them to rethink and come up with better explanations.

I genuinely value your time and support my voyager folks. ♥️
