I wish I had better news today.

It breaks my heart to say this, but there’s a real chance that Bando might be taken down soon. :,(

The label that owns the original composers catalog believes we’ve made millions from the video and that we’ve put the song out on other platforms even though we never have.

I just hope they can see that bando has always been a tribute to Piero Piccioni’s amazing work. It was never about taking anything it was about sharing something beautiful.

I’ve always loved using samples. It gives older songs a second life, letting a new generation hear music they might never have found otherwise. And honestly, the fact that so many people discovered Piero’s music because of Bando is something I’m truly proud of.

It just breaks my heart that in the end, the world still tries to measure art in dollars instead of memories, emotions, and the impact it has on people’s lives.

Maybe one day the world will value art for what it truly is, a gift, not a business.

Thank you for everything you’ve given me and everything this music has become…
