Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of "My Hero Academia", returns with a 61-page horror one-shot manga, titled "Quit Laughing, Shijima" (Japanese title - "Warawanaide-yo, Shijima-san").
It is also called unofficially as "Don’t Laugh, Shijima-san".
Released in the combined 37th/38th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump on August 10, 2026, this project marks his first new work since concluding the manga of "My Hero Academia" in August 2024.

The "My Hero Academia" TV anime has dropped its new 6-min OVA short, titled "I am a Hero too".
The short had premiered on August 2, 2026, and is currently streaming on Crunchyroll. It shows the story of a grown-up Eri and also featured other popular characters from the show, including Deku and All Might.
This final short also marks the end of MHA anime, with the main anime series already concluded back in December 2025.

Crunchyroll has acquired the global distribution rights outside Asia, except for India, to director Makoto Shinkai’s next feature film.
Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment will co-distribute the upcoming anime film internationally.
The announcement was made on August 12. However, the film’s title, story, and release date have not yet been revealed.
