With many 80s 90s JDM sports cars going up in price , special attention is to collectors ‘Special Edition’ or ‘Limited Production’ models have seen cars like R34 GT-R V-Spec II & M-Spec Nür , Lancer Evolution VI Tommi Makinen Edition, RX-7 Spirit R Type A, Civic Mugen RR, Impreza 22B valued at a significantly higher price than the ‘regular’ grades.
The exclusivity of owning a a special model can often be identified visually due to special colours and exterior aero parts, wheels, emblems, decals, different seats and interior trim in addition to other mechanical equipment. Some specials are made to commemorate the manufacturer’s wins in motor sport such as WRC, undoubtedly of the Group A and WRCar era such as the
Subaru Impreza WRX STi Version “V-Limited”
Fuji Heavy Industries made special victory colouring with blue interior trim , World Rally 555 embossed on the seats and special decals. Only available in World Rally Blue Mica. Cherry red front grille emblem and a limited edition plaque inside. Other than that, the car is mechanically similar to regular models.
These limited cars were made in 1000 units for the Type R coupe and 555 units for the sedan type RA.
