I have great news to share! The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Critique project is having its final part being scripted as you read this. Things will start to take shape very soon! More news to come in the next few months.

It has been a couple of months since my last update.
Great progress has been made with the FFVII Rebirth Critique project, and an even more exciting turn of events for the channel took place in the meantime.
Details on projects and news have been shared in my Patreon for those interested!

For now, I want to share with you a video from my good friend ‪@UncleAlPlus‬ , for which I collaborated with on research and scriptwriting! The topic is a bit different from what is covered by the IPs in this channel, however, I imagine many of you will have some interest in what is one of the most tragic stories of the gaming medium.

How have you all been?
I will share updates on my projects once May begins.
For now, I would like to share a video from a longtime supporter of the channel and good friend ‪@orion8550‬ .
He has been trying to go beyond the scope of Final Fantasy VII, covering other works in media. In case you don't know, YouTube's algorithm makes it very hard for small channels to explore new IPs, especially ones from different media. This is why you checking out the video and commenting really makes a big difference. If you're a Star Wars fan, please give this one a shot!

I very much relate to the wish of expanding to other IPs, given how I was clear from my very first video that I would cover other media as well. The lower viewership of the Smash X FFVII documentaries were more than enough to prove the uphill battle that exists for folks like us. I'm confident both this channel and Orion's will find a wider reach and more fans that will follow us regardless of the IP we cover at any given moment.

Hello, everyone!
I have great news. A new milestone has been achieved! We've reached 1K subscribers today! I can't thank everyone enough for your support, interest and love given to the channel.
I want to send a special shoutout to ‪@orion8550‬ for helping with the final push to help the subscriber count pass over this milestone tonight. He made an incredibly heartfelt gesture over on his own community and I can't thank him enough as well. A collaborator, someone I've had the great pleasure to work on a video with, and a great friend. Do support him too if you haven't already!


The output speed of the channel wasn't what was originally planned when it kicked off over 4 years ago, I think everyone, in some form or another, may have felt this. But that is a result of life that affects some out there trying to get into content creation or any kind of art in general. Personal life always comes first, after all. My life progressed in unbelievable ways, with lots of ups and downs that have kept me from fully dedicating to this channel compared to what I wanted to. Even now, my life is still at a very decisive moment, with big projects being attempted and my professional career reaching a potential turning point. But it's crazy to think where I was when the channel started. My Discord community existed almost half a year prior to the release of my first video, back when the pandemic was at its peak. I was still stuck in Brazil with family after visiting them from Germany. Now I've already moved back to Europe, going through two different demanding jobs that helped me grow a lot. The good news is that the wait for this channel's next big projects are approaching the end.


For starters, there will be a quasi-reboot of the first A Living Legacy video, separating the art analysis discussion from the FFVII content (updated with more context I gathered from new sources).
Afterwards, the big Unbridled FFVII Rebirth project will be a 2-part long-form feature, and the release of both parts won't be far apart as was the case with the Smash X FFVII Encore project. More updates of this project will be shared on Patreon soon.
There will also be another major Unbridled project coming right after, more details to come once we approach the release of the FFVII R videos.
I also wished I could produce one on Donkey Kong Bananza considering what that work turned out to be, but that will stay pending. A longform written review will probably come out first on Patreon and later on X. Finally, the long awaited Part 2 of A Living Legacy should arrive soon after.
There are other projects being worked on that, if they work out, will be even bigger than what was revealed so far, and I can't wait to share them all with you!


As we reach this first major milestone, we enter a new era for the channel. One that will really take off hard once the next barrage of videos is released. And I can't wait to show you all the incredible ride to come.

Long time no see. :)
I'll give a proper update post soon for everyone. I left you waiting for a long time for my next projects, and I apologize for that. But irl demands have kept me stuck.
In the meantime, I want to take the opportunity to ask you guys to please check out the latest video from ‪@orion8550‬ , one of the most heartfelt and touching videos I've seen on this platform in a while.
It talks about FFVII, but it goes deeper into the general discussion of life, death and the loss of loved ones. If you have been through this kind of thing in your life, or if you ever pondered about that scenario, please give this video a shot. It is quite beautiful, and inspiring with acceptance and the importance of living on.
And of course, his usual spot on criticism of FFVII Rebirth's conclusion.
