We sell new, pre-owned and vintage kits. We offer onsite restoration and repair services. Rentals are available, as well as lessons. Announcement!!! Atlanta Drum Shop welcomes Dani Ruano as a Spanish speaking drum instructor!
Dani discovered her passion for music at the age of 9, starting with guitar and
singing before finding her true love for the drums at 16. She began as a self-taught
musician, and her passion led her to take formal lessons at music academies, later
diving into the scene and learning from prominent Ecuadorian musicians.
In 2017, she joined Rosa Tequilas as a drummer, a female Ecuadorian band with
which she has toured the country, performing at major events such as the Exa
Concert 2018 and opening shows for artists like Reik and Bajo Sueños. In 2020, she
was invited to the Bataka Fest Girls, Ecuador’s most prominent drumming event, and
in 2021, she expanded her versatility by joining the all-female saxophone quartet
Warmi Sax as a percussionist.
Dani studied percussion at the National Conservatory of Music and has participated
in notable projects such as the Ecuador-France Intercultural Project. Her training
includes workshops with renowned national and international musicians, enriching
her artistic and technical vision.
Passionate about education, Dani has dedicated much of her life to studying and
researching the benefits of music in human development. This passion has led her to
specialize in music education, focusing on drums and musical stimulation. She has
worked on projects that integrate music, creativity, and values, aiming to inspire new
generations through the arts and fostering a deep connection to learning.
