Hey everyone, just a quick reminder that TODAY (30th Nov) is the starting date for making claims for the THIRD self employment income support scheme grant (SEISS lockdown grant). Good morning folks! Just heads up regarding the lockdown grant, I received this txt from the Government yesterday. Watch out for scam texts - this one IS GENUINE. Note how they're not getting you to click on any links. If you haven't had this text yet DON'T PANIC - they might be doing this in a phased approach since it's probably a brand new system. I certainly would. Anyway, latest word on the street:
"The online service will be available from *13 May 2020*. If you’re eligible, we will tell you the date you can make your claim from. If your claim is approved you’ll receive your payment within 6 working days."
They've also updated a lot of their guidance online, so check out all the info there. Amazed they've got this up and running so quickly. Fingers crossed it all works as planned. I'll try to do a vid on it once I go through the online application process. In the meantime please have a read of their updated guidance:

Hey folks! So our Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, has published the support package for self employed folk in this difficult time. I don't envy Rishi's task of having to come up with a simple plan to suit everyone in the face of the incredible complexities and intricacies of UK small businesses. Having said that I've already received several notes from hard working sole traders who are going to have to shut down their businesses in light of what's going on and aren't likely to qualify for any government aid. How will this situation and support package impact your business? Please let me know as I might be making a video about this. Cheers folks and stay safe! Andy Mac 👍
