Surviving Ringworm
Who doesn't at some point dream of moving to the wilderness with nothing but a pile of tools and a sense of humor just to see what would happen?
In early 2020 Ryan bought a remote property in Michigan with no roads, power or water. Just trees. He and his best friend since high school took tents, chainsaws and basic hand tools and moved to the woods to live for as long as it was fun.
Years later, Ryan is still enjoying himself too much to leave. He eventually built a 190sq ft tiny Cabin and got a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy to keep him company.
He still lives in the woods, alone, and entertains himself by building ridiculous structures using only a chainsaw, an Alaskan mill and an ever-growing pile of tools.

Surviving Ringworm
In consideration of staying out in the wilderness going forward and continuing to make videos from Ringworm, I've done something rash. Several people over the past few months have asked how I support myself and why I don't have a Patreon page.
I generally answer, "I don't support myself. I am the most frugal guy I know but when the money runs out, I have to leave. And Pateron? I'm just a nut living in the woods with a couple chainsaws and a GoPro. Who'd want to support that?"
But hey, what the heck. I'll try anything once (or 3-4 times if it involves a chainsaw and a minimal amount of forethought.)
So if any of you are interested, have a couch full of nickels and really, really want to keep watching me attempt Surviving Ringworm, feel free to donate a few shekels to the Ringworm Foundation for the Under-Trained Woodsman.
