Wooohooooo! My first ever POE league going 40/40 challenges, and hitting level 100 too!

Last challenge was Uber bosses which I really enjoyed doing. Never had done those before. I may cobble together one more video for YouTube talking about the end state of my 1H Ice Crash build - but before then, here's the POB:

My Thresholds to hit were:
------------------------------------------
- 4k+ life unreserved
- 50k+ armour
- 30k+ phys max hit
- 1 mil+ EHP with 'Disable EHP gain on block' checked in config
- 50 mil DPS one handed (with fully automated flasks, 65 mil DPS when going for bossing)!

I have hit all these milestones and feeling really really happy with the build. Here is the TL;DR of changes, it's all written in more detail in the POB notes though!

Changes:
---------------
- Adding in 'Tempest Shield', it gives such a stupid amount of Spell Block

- Taking 'Sovereignty' at the top left of the tree, rather than Spell Block nodes to accommodate Tempest Shield

- Prismatic Heart on the cold cluster jewel as we get cold exposure from awakened cold pen level 5 (but keep using Corrosive Elements if you need 'Inspiration' for mana purposes)

- Cloth and Chain + Armour Mastery there for huge armour boost

- Experimented with Brine King pantheon to refund 'Unstoppable' ascendancy. This is very viable if you get enough Stun Threshold to be immune! I went back to Unstoppable + Lunaris in the end though, as i like to GO FAST

- If you have mana issues, as always take all the 'Attack Mana Cost' nodes at Cannibalistic Rite, and the Life Mastery for 'Skills cost life instead of 15% mana cost'. Inspiration is a great gem link too for Ice Crash. You can also use LIFETAP SUPPORT in your Svalinn shield linked to whatever you've got, that really helps if you're struggling!

Aaaaand one last POB update for Ice Crash (1H + Shield) for the day, even better than the one a few hours ago:

Changes:
- Skill: 20/23 Tempest Shield replaces Frost Bomb. HUGE spell block provided here (25%!) and shock immunity.
- Skill: 20/23 Frostbite replaces 10/23 Frostbite (DPS upgrade)


- Passive Tree: Less spell block nodes, replaced by Mana Reservation Efficiency (to make way for Tempest Shield)
- Passive Tree: +30 Int (Ideally you'd get this on a ring instead)
- Passive Tree: 2 points for 'Bloodless', more max life overall


- Gear: New helmet double corruption (not required, just more damage)


Enjoy! Tempest shield is just really nice (and also looks really cool). You can take out 'Faster Attacks' if you want and socket it there instead to keep Frost Bomb on the shield. Play around with it, if you don't like it just make sure to keep your Spell Block topped up as high as you can!

Path of Building for Ice Crash (1H Mace + Shield) has been updated:

New features:
- Level 85 early mapping tree for 1H
- Level 100 trees to aim toward (pure DPS, tank, or hybrid variations)
- More detail expanding on each topic in the 'Notes' section

I personally use the 'Hybrid' tree - still get the same damage numbers as per the last video, but with even better defences! 50k armour, 4k unreserved life, and MUCH higher max hits.

To all Path of Exile enjoyers, I am working on the next video now!

Sneak peek: current damage is... 102 MILLION! WHAT! Hahahaha

And that's still with a 765 Physical DPS weapon, if you are good at farming currency you could be anywhere between 20-40% over that from a better weapon ALONE. Just crazy. Bossfights are an absolute joke!

So for those of you Path of Exile enjoyers that are interested in Ice Crash, read below. Current build is now a STAGGERING 12.7 MIL DPS. 100% Crit chance, fun times all around.

The Concept:
---------------------

I am experimenting with Autoexertion at the moment, in order to juice up the Overexertion DPS without having to spam 5000 war cries. Autoexertion buffs our Ice Crash PER war cry exerting it. So rather than 2-3, we now have 5.

Despite removing the buffs from manual casting, and the Hatred aura (for now) this build still hits at 12.7 mil POB DPS! A MASSIVE improvement over my last video - would love to do another one when I am back.

Resists are all really good, with chaos also fully capped at 75%.

The Setup:

- Rare Boots rather than Kaom's Roots. Here are three level 1 war cries, which are rallying cry/infernal cry/seismic cry. All being autoexerted.

- Still self casting intimidating cry and enduring cry, which are linked to a second wind support. Love self casting intimidating cry, I like knowing my next 3 hits do insane damage!

- Then a battlemage's cry setup, which casts assassin's mark for you. Later on will investigate annointing whisper's of doom so this can stack WITH frosbite, even more potential DPS. For now it works on the big rares/bosses as needed.

- A fully levelled Precision linked to Arrogance, which gets you some mana back.

Summary:

So this is a very similar playstyle, just a bit smoother with less buttons to press. You alternate between intimidating cry and enduring cry, in between slams to keep those buffs up, and pop battlemage's every 6 attacks for applying assassin's mark. You can even just use that for bosses or rares if you are lazy!

Give it a try! It is not hard to swap between the autoexert and manual builds either - normally just takes a couple of chromatic orbs for sockets.

FINAL NOTE: The Abyssus helmet takes the build literally all the way up to near 18 MILLION first hit DPS. What! If my laptop was good enough to play the game properly, I'd be using that - but right now it's better for me not to have the extra 50% phys damage being taken. Still so much to optimize here, give this build a go!!
